Quietly Into The Night

Trying to wrap my head around all the things that led up to the creation of Unified Patriots… And then thinking about all that has transpired in the 10 years – yes, 10 years – since this site first hit the airwaves of Al Gore’s interwebs, I think what strikes me the most is how unlikely it was that our work here would last the entire decade that it actually did.

Back in February of 2011, after our founding members – Conservatives all – were kicked off a nationally recognized website… Purportedly to be considered the go-to place for Conservative news and commentary… Because we began challenging the Bonafides and legitimacy of the smarmy little pricks that were running the operation. Read that again… This was not a typo.

When this website started, Obama was midway through his first term, crybaby Boehner was Speaker of the House, and “Dirty Harry” Reid was Senate Majority Leader. As well, the Tea Party Patriot movement was two years old, and Trayvon Martin had about a year left to live. It is pretty safe to say the world was in a very different place back then and has incredibly worsened over the decade we have been chronicling the state of American Affairs during this stretch of History.

Our membership… And our readership… Has enjoyed much the same roller coaster ride as our nation; change, after all, truly is the only constant in the Human Experience, and we are incredibly fortunate to have had a venue of our own, under our own control, with no outside intervention. In present-day America, this level of Liberty and Freedom is unheard of – “Woke” madness and cancel culture being what it is these days. – it’s pretty safe to say we’ve been around long enough here at Unified Patriots to recognize the cancer currently eating away at a Bill of Rights that has withstood the test of time for two and a half centuries.

There are nearly 7,000 articles in our archives which is a testament to all of the people that have come and gone and contributed to our Collective conversation over the years. We thank each and every one of you! Our website -filled with contentious debate, interwoven with camaraderie and friendship – has been worth every moment of the effort put into it, and we thank each and every one of you that have come and gone over the years… Literally none of this could have been accomplished without your Collective and respective contributions.

The last several that remain have decided this is a good time to close the book, seal the last box, and turn off the last light switch as we move on to our respective new Ventures in a crazy, mixed-up, topsy-turvy and upside down World heading into 2022. Our prayers are with you and yours, and our hope that America survives the challenges she now confronts remain steadfast in our hearts and our future endeavors.

God bless you all!

It saddens me to lose this resource. I never had a lot to say, but I appreciated having a place to find kindred souls. I was never sure if I was kicked off the “respected site” on the night of the Kraken — I waited a few months before I tried to log in again, and was denied. I like to think they considered me one of you, even if most of you had no idea who I was.
