The Collapse of Bread and Circuses

The Romans had a brilliant way of keeping the lower classes fixated on something other than their depravity and destruction of life all around them. They, like the television of today, or stadiums for the NFL or NASCAR, kept you lulled into a sense of normalcy while everything was burning down around you Bread and Circuses

something, as extravagant entertainment, offered as an expedient means of pacifying discontent or diverting attention from a source of grievance.

As we’ve traveled through the last 60 years of paying attention to the circus the left has been laying waste to academia, Hollywood and the laws of the land. We’ve ignored that which we knew was happening but a desire to just be left alone was the only thing we wanted from our country. We’ve not been left alone, and now its time to make them pay a steep price for bothering us as we live our lives. I believe NASCAR calling its fans who pay for them to be a billion dollar entity, “bigots and racists” for the past month, just might be the tipping point for many NASCAR Bubba Wallace Fake Noose Was A HOAX

As you can see, the portion of the rope that shows the hand loop (aka “noose) in 2019 was cut off in 2020. The rope did not break, it was cut. The question then becomes was this a mistaken interpretation or an intentional effort to create the appearance of targeted hate?

The answer to that question becomes clear when you look at the same rope on the adjacent stall, #5. A full picture (shown below) shows the pull-down rope on the stall next to Bubba Wallace also contained a hand loop tied into it. However, it is clear from the kinks in the rope the hand loop was untied. Likely by the same person who cut-off the “noose” on stall #4 being used by Bubba Wallace’s crew.

I had my circus cut off in 2016 when the NFL refused to stop the stupidity of kneeling when the flag of these United States of America was on display. I had a 30 year addiction to football, spent too much money to count, and poof, just like that, it was over. I’ve enjoyed more time with my family and my bank account is more flush with cash. Get Ready for NFL Anthem Kneeling — If There’s a Season

The coach will lead the team in kneeling during the anthem, and I assume this is every game. Snerdley, do you think there’s gonna be an NFL season? (interruption) You do. You think there will be an NFL season. Will it start on time, and will there be fans in the stadiums? (interruption) You do? (interruption) Okay. You think so, Brian? (interruption)

Starting to have doubts out there. Do you believe that most Americans think that racism and bigotry is a virus that they’ve caught? (interruption) You don’t believe that? (interruption) Okay. I just wanted to… I just wanted to check.

And this is Gloria in Houston. It’s great to have you here, Gloria. Thank you for waiting.

CALLER: Thanks for taking my call, Rush. It’s an honor to speak to you.

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: I just wanted to add a comment to what you were speaking about earlier about the NFL coming back, you know, full strength into some of our big cities. I live in Houston and, you know, we have the Houston Texans here. Our mayor just a few minutes ago on our local radio announced that we were not gonna have a Fourth of July celebration in Houston this year and we used to have a gigantic one. It’s one of our biggest celebrations. But he had allowed all of the, you know, rampant protesting and some burning and looting and all of that stuff go on in our city, but we can’t have our celebration, it’s gonna be virtual. And I’m just wondering if he’s gonna let the NFL —

RUSH: Now, doesn’t that just tick you off?

CALLER: Yes, it does.

The gaslighting being attempted by the high holy Roman emperors of the bread and circuses brigade is incredible to watch from a distance. It is also amazing to see my fellow Americans reject their gaslighting. I can only hope that they destroy those circuses, that they make them broke, that the people who’ve destroyed them are living in shacks in a decade. You have to stop paying attention to the shiny ball and start rebuilding this great nation for your children and grandchildren to enjoy once again.

Michigan’s Lefty Governor, Whitmer, responded to one of her constituents who was pleading for aid to for his business during this lockdown, asked, “Can I buy you a hotdog.” She was serving hotdogs at a foodline.

That’s how tone deaf these people are. I hope someone makes that clip into a political ad.

“Let them eat cake” keeps its meaning in modern-day America.
