I Don’t Know Candace Owens…

The most powerful tweet I’ve ever read on Twitter.

“Far right? Allow me to clarify: I believe the black community can do it without hand-outs. I believe the Democrats have strapped us to our past to prevent us from our futures. And I won’t stop fighting until all black Americans see that.
I’m not far right—I’m free.”

“Democrats have strapped us to our past to prevent us from our futures.”
“I’m not far right–I’m free.”

The first speaks directly to Black, (and other Democrat victim groups) the later is a statement we can all embrace. It’s the Left who stays enslaved – poverty of thought, brainwashed and brain-dead, and unable to exist outside of their robotic safety zone. Almost as if they’re afraid of the truth.

Hope @Jack doesn’t get heartburn.

Here is Wikipedia information. Any criticisms regarding her past are irrelevant to me. It’s her work today that matters.

I read about the attacks on Candace Owens several months back as well as socialautopsy.com. Another Black Conservatve video blogger unleashed on Owens big time but she was just one of many on both the left and the right. It did not help that many were caught up on the race issue, again on both sides of the aisle.

Race always muddies the waters but Owens defended herself, hour by hour as the assaults were coming from both sides really fast and furious. I decided to wait and see. (I refer you to Bookworm Room’s essay on Owens: Is Candace Owens for real or are conservatives getting conned?

As for the here and now, Owens’ work speaks for itself.

Agree, Puma. I remember coming across her name and knowing there was some flake. Didn’t pay much attention as too easy to get bogged down in that stuff. As you said, “the here and now” – I loved Candace’s prose:

“Democrats have strapped us to our past to prevent us from our futures.”
      “I’m not far right–I’m free.”

The first speaks directly to Black, (and other Democrat victim groups) the later is a statement we can all embrace.
