Podcast: The Colorado Debate- The GOP Learns How To Mambo The Media

Maybe it’s the influence of Donald Trump and his media savvy (The Art Of The Deal!), or maybe the media cartel is just collapsing under the weight of its own hubris, but the recent Colorado debate was a stunning example of pushback by the candidates. It was a display of moxie and smarts quite in contrast to the ongoing coronation of Hillary Clinton. Most of the candidates did well, but the performance by Ted Cruz was remarkable- the nation finally got a chance to see the full array of his intellectual firepower.

We also take a look, courtesy of pundit Dick Morris, at the inglorious end of John Boehner’s reign as Speaker with the recent budget deal.

  1. Go Ted! You just had to ruin our day with fond remembrances of the budget deals, didn’t ya Street? Every time I get on one of our crappy Interstate highways and think about the stimulus package (which of course was pre-Boehner, but still) I think of the hundreds of billions wasted every year and they had to go along with the defense cuts and it makes you want to renounce your citizenship or something.
