Kissed by an Angel, Where Violins are the Angels’ Voices,

and the Cello Sings Harmony.

Tech Sergeant Anthony E Salazar, of Hermosa Beach, CA

died 13 April 2015 at a forward air base in the Iraq-ISIS zone, in Operation Inherent Resolve, from small arms fire

He was of the 577th Expeditionary Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force Squadron, 1st Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group. (His dearth has not been reported publicly as a death from hostile fire, so would some interested party make sure Sgt Salazar and his family receives all honors and benefits accorded to our fallen soldiers and airmen?)

Rest in Peace, Sergeant

Job well done.

Give me, my God, what you still have; give me what no one asks for. I do not ask for wealth, nor success, nor even health.

People ask you so often, God, for all that, that you cannot have any left. Give me, my God, what you still have. Give me what people refuse to accept from you. I want insecurity and disquietude; I want turmoil and brawl.

And if you should give them to me,

my God, once and for all, let me be sure to have them always, for

I will not always have the courage to ask for them.
