There are a few things that are beginning to become obvious, and some things that will become what are termed “givens.” It is pretty obvious by now that Sarah Palin was courageously correct when she said that Obamacare provided for the creation of “Death Panels.” Excuse us for not providing the source and link, but we heard yesterday that Harry Reid’s obliteration of the deliberative function of the US Senate will allow for Barack Obama to appoint radical leftists to the Independent Payment Advisory Board (Death Panel), which is a feature of Obamacare. Things are going smoothly and as planned (behind the scenes and in the public domain.)
And the actual deaths themselves? Well, we can probably start keeping score any day now. We will provide the links for three items here, here and here, with an excerpt from the last as a human example:
Bill Elliot, who voted for President Obama, contacted “The Kelly File” via Facebook and said he can no longer afford to pay his medical bills and does not want to take on the new costs because he does not want to put a “burden” on his family, according to Fox News.
Saying he feels “misled,” Elliott told Kelly his new insurance will cost him $1,500 per month with a $13,000 deductible, adding that he will opt to pay the minimal fine for not having health insurance and “will just let nature take its course.”
“Just let nature take it’s course.” That means …..die. So now, the death toll can begin to be kept.
Sarah Palin didn’t go to Oxford or Cambridge. She went to Idaho State. What does that mean about Obamacare? It means you don’t have to be an elite to understand what it means for the outcomes of ordinary people caught in it’s clutches. It means when you read and use logic and common sense, some things are obvious. And now it is a given, as exemplified by personal testimony of Obamacare’s victims, that people are going to die.
What is also becoming obvious is that Hillary Clinton is going to be the Democrat nominee for president in the 2016 election. You don’t have to be a Harvard or Yale alumnus to understand that that’s what the Democrat establishment wants, that’s what the Left wants and that’s what Big Media and Big Hollywood want. Thrills, chills, goosebumps, teary-eyed hallelujahs and Dreams of Shattering Glass all culminating in the Smartest Woman in the World being coronated. And by coronated, we mean not only the nominee, but the top electoral vote-getter because it’s hers, it’s a given and there will have to be a big pile of Republican Party Establishment dead bodies before a constitutional conservative (read “winner”) can make his/her way through the process to oppose her. If that process could be circumvented, it would be a welcome development, but, like….reality.
So what will be Hillary’s campaign theme? You can bet your sweet bippy it won’t be a rehash of her foreign policy achievements as Secretary of State because, well, there are only failures and disasters, which will grow in scope in the two years before 2016 and which will be blamed on Obama, stretching back to Bush, and if necessary Reagan. What Hillary and her team will do – and can’t you just imagine the dramatic script being written as we speak? – will be to craft a grand design to save us all from the ravages of Obamacare. It will be pure fiction, of course. But never underestimate the fickleness of the Low Information Voting Public. They will flip for a new “plan” in a heartbeat.
Unless. Unless we of the right can use our less-than-Ivy League educations and common sense and powers of perspicacity and head her off at the pass by starting right now to promote something called “Hillarycare.” See, it doesn’t matter what we say is in it, it won’t matter what they say is in it, all we have to do is say it’s “Hillarycare.” Do you get it? The country will be hurting so badly by 2016, the toll on the economy, the civil unease and unrest will be so palpable and real, as will the ‘death toll’, that the rabble will be looking for any avenue of escape and willing to totally disregard Hillary’s dismal record and vote for her if she promises to create some kind of “fix” for Obamacare.
Unless we head her off at the pass and start calling it Hillarycare. Because as we said, people are going to start dying because of Obamacare, and by 2016 the graveyards will start filling up. It will be graphic and it will be a shame that we have to use the deaths of countless thousands of our sick and infirm to save the country.
Look, Hillary will still be the nominee. That’s a given. But contrary to what we said above, there is still a ray of hope that a popular movement arising out of the ravages of Obamacare, if offered the opportunity to escape the madness and presented with the stark reality that
- National Healthcare Equals Premature, Unnecessary Death, Whether You Name It Obamacare or Hillarycare
may make itself attractive to the constitutional conservative heroes/heroines waiting in the wings to lead that movement.
The only thing the Democrats will have to run on in 2014/2016 is that Hillarycare will result in fewer deaths than Obamacare. Is that an attractive platform? We think not. When Bill Clinton allowed ‘Hillarycare’ to be the namesake of the Left’s national health care scheme in the 90’s, everyone thought it was so cute. Kind of like what they thought about ‘Obamacare’ up until a couple of weeks ago.
So let us here and now resolve to start the great national conversation:
Will Hillarycare Really Result In Fewer Deaths Than Obamacare?
Yes, we know that Ted Cruz went to Harvard and not Idaho State. But somehow he has been able to overcome that and see and state the obvious about Obamacare, as did Palin three years ago. With our help their common sense, limited government, Tenth Amendment-centric attitudes can seize the day. There are others of like mind. We can help them but we must be willing to get graphic about death panels and death itself. It’s all too real.
