Doubling Down, Tripling Down…Down, Down, Down
You may recognise the artwork above. It is a painting entitled “The Scream”. It’s provenance and reknown are not important here, but the emotion is. For me it is symbolic of the utter hopelessness and despair and the inability to adequately verbalize the abominations being perpetrated on American Institutions by the Progressive Socialist Statists.
The instance today is the Department of Defense, where the honcho in charge of personnel matters is not only reiterating the mantras of “diversity and inclusion”, but deeming them critical to the success of ….the mission. Pleases note that “the mission” is never defined.
Jessica L. Wright, the acting under secretary of defense for personnel and readiness, said today that the Defense Department must maintain its commitment to diversity and inclusion, which contribute to mission success.
She asserted that diversity helps civilian and military employees perform well because they “represent the nation in our workforce.”
The Defense Department not only talks “about diversity in terms of race and gender, and ethnicity, but it is much more than that in my mind,” Wright said. She declared that diversity included “your thought process, how you grew up, [and] what you can add to the greater good because of your background.”
Wright, the very model of a modern retired major general in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, was speaking Tuesday on best practices for inclusion and diversity at an event hosted by the German Marhsall Fund of the United States.
The webpage for the event, titled “Mission Critical: Transatlantic Security and Diversity,” declared, “it is a security imperative for military leaders to proactively advance diversity and inclusion (D&I) best practices,” because of the “rapid demographic change [and] advances in gender and LGBT equity and a new generation of veterans in NATO countries.”
We will note only two things in reaction to the gibberish spouted by the DOD puppet in charge of personnel, in addition to the fact that she apparently had a friendly audience if you read the part that says the event’s sponsors are giddy at the prospect of LGBTism as crucial to transatlantic security.
1. Following the Ft. Hood terrorist attack by Major Nidal Hasan which took the lives of thirteen soldiers, General George Casey, the Army Chief of Staff, said in a public statement that the “loss of diversity”, were Islamist types subjected to stricter scrutiny by the military, would be worse than the loss of those thirteen lives.
2. In the investigation and official reports by the DOD and Homeland Security as regards the Ft. Hood incident, the matter was deemed to be an issue of “workplace violence.”
In conclusion, recall from the above that Undersecretary Wright, herself a retired career military officer, not only harps on diversity, but also refers to military personnel as a “workforce”.
So, you see, we don’t have a United States Military, with soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines dedicated to only one thing – the security of the United States of America and it’s people – we have a workforce in a workplace and it is unclear what the mission is. But diversity and inclusion uber alles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
