Always wondered what planet the Lefty Dems were on…thinking the young would pay into something that was costly and meaningless to them. The young working stiffs (20-30 yr olds) were never going to jump on board. In fact, most people would forgo insurance entirely if it wasn’t so costly to see an MD for routine visits, and of course, the catastrophic major medical. The high costs of medical care, for a large part, is caused by the presence of third party payers.
