… strikes a blow for stupidity.

Let me be clear.  John Kerry committed treason when, as a member of the US Naval Reserve, he met with representatives of North Vietnam in Paris.  He should have been, and still should be, arrested and tried before a military tribunal and if found guilty he should be hung.  I’ll donate the rope.

Now that that is out of the way, our Secretary of State is on top of the Benghazi fiasco.  Keep in mind that the Congressional committee investigating what happened has never managed to get a straight answer from anybody in either the administration or at State.  In addition, somebody stashed the survivors of Benghazi somewhere and they’ve been “unavailable” since the attack and as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said before a House Committee, “What difference will it make?”

Things may – we can hope – be changing on this front.  It’s been reported that at least some of the survivors are talking to the House committee.  No reports on what they’re saying but I’m betting our gun control President won’t be happy.

Dana Rohrabacher had the following chat with the Secretary, highlighting is mine.

REP. DANA ROHRABACHER (R-CA): Mr. Secretary, we think that there was a coverup of some kind of wrongdoing that led this administration to lie to the American people about the nature of the attack immediately after the attack and for a week after that attack. We need to have these questions answered. We need to talk to the people who are on the scene. Can you give us a commitment now that for this administration you will be coming up with the request, the honest request of this investigative committee as to who was evacuated and how to talk to them so we can get a straight answer and an understanding of what happened in Benghazi?

SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY: Well, before I became Secretary, Congressman, I believe I got the answers to who was evacuated and had a pretty good sense of what happened there. But now that I am the Secretary and I am responsible to you and the Congress, I can promise you that if you’re not getting something that you have evidence of or you think you ought to be getting, we’ll work with you. And I will appoint somebody to work directly with you starting tomorrow, with you, Mr. Chairman, to have a review of anything you don’t think you’ve gotten that you’re supposed to get. Let’s get this done with, folks.

KERRY: Let’s figure out what it is that’s missing, if it’s legitimate or if it isn’t. I don’t think anybody lied to anybody. And let’s find out exactly, together, what happened, because we need — we got a lot more important things to move on to and get done. (House Foreign Affairs Committee, April 17, 2013)

Let’s move on, nothing to see here.

Four dead Americans, two of whom died so the 30 survivors could live, a President who got maybe a five minute briefing before heading off to dinner and a fund raising trip to Vegas and the administration won’t provide any answers let alone straight answers.  And now we’ve got this buffoon telling us we need to just move on.

I can’t wait to see who the Secretary appoints to work with Chairman Rohrabacher.  I really hope the committee can get to the bottom of this but I’m not particularly optimistic.  The most transparent administration ever is effective at one thing.  Covering their collective asses with the help of the media.  It may be the only thing they’re good at, but they’re the best.

We knew that every one of Obama’s cabinet choices were lacking big time, but of course, the lefties didn’t and don’t care. Maybe Kerry will decide the job is too much for him and decide he should retire and go home to his mansion and yacht.

The vote to confirm John Kerry as Secretary of State was 94-3. NINETY FOUR TO THREE. Do we, the Country Class, have more information at our fingertips on the history of JohnF-ing Kerry than members of the United States Senate? All I know is I don’t receive a $174 k salary in return for preserving, protecting and defending the US and engaging in thoughtful, sober debate and consideration of the people we select to head our government departments, nor do I have a staff budget of $3million. But somehow, someway I know, like you, that John F-ing Kerry has no business being the Secretary of State of the United States of America.
Yes, we have a media problem, and an education problem, and a left-wing culture hegemony problem. We also have a problem in that the loyal opposition is so freaking loyal it makes you sick.
