Chuck Todd Asks Obama a Non-Softball Question . . . No, Really

Chuck Todd, of way left NBC no less, ask Obama a challenging question. Finally. Caught by surprise and without Mr. Teleprompter, Obama went into filibuster mode.
.

Never has so much been said that had so little to do with a such a straight-forward question. You have to admit Obama can kill the clock like the four corners once killed scoring, back in the day. Dean Smith would be proud. (Look it up, 20-somethins).

Hey, Chuck, did you notice how the man stuttered and stammered around? Did you get anything close to a answer? Careful with the questions you ask. It’s really not that hard to undress the Emperor and that’s just not something a friend of Obama should be doing.

There’s some real gems in this clip.

“…’cause being POTUS is hard.” So says the stutterer in chief.

“…sometimes it’d be easier to avoid the question, precisely because it’s hard…” The Obama doctrine wrt defense, the economy, jobs, the budget, and all the important issues that are hard.

“I think that people should get to know President Obama the way I’ve gotten to know him.” Believe me, PM Netanyahu, we have, and we feel your pain.

And Chuck, how dare you imply he might have screwed up. Don’t let it happen again.

Did you see his middle finger touch his cheek at 1:49 or so? We’ve seen this gesture before, perhaps an involuntary non-verbal reaction to those wom make him uncomfortable questioning his highness. Yes, much blather and no substance…as usual.
