Just in Case: Surviving the Worst

How about those Black Friday headlines? People biting each other to get their hands on a phone at Walmart? Our country and our culture surely are not on a great glide-path. Me, me, me, and we want it free, free, free because we are entitled. The money is already running out for Greece and Spain. Mr. Bernanke is cranking the money printing presses full out and President Baracka Claus is looking forward to confiscating as much as possible from the producers. Even a supreme optimist must consider this could all end very badly.

What if . . . what if the feces really hits the fan? Are you and your family ready for a worst case scenario? Shouldn’t you be? I’m not talking about moving to a shack in the wilderness and living off the land but it does pay to be prepared. After all, the government has been known to leave desperate citizens stranded and on their own. Katrina, anyone? How’s that Sandy mess coming along? What if you were faced with something far worse than a storm affecting the coastal regions of a few states?

What if? You might find one of these very handy, even life extending:

There may be better survival knives on the market and if you can afford one, great and let us in on it. For now I’m buying one of these . . . for just in case. All the looters can put their full faith and trust in Baracka Claus and the federal government. Not me, because the government that can give you everything won’t be able to do anything when the money runs out.

Just bought one from Walmart online. Shipping is free if it goes to the store. Thanks for the tip.
