Anyone who’s taken a close look at the 2012 results from Ohio, Pennsylvania in Florida knows many of the elections outcomes are tainted, at best.
At worst some candidates were elected as a direct result of voting irregularities or intentional fraud. One of the benefactors may be Barrack Obama himself. The odds of getting 100% turnout in numerous precincts are logically impossible. For so much of the crap to have occurred only in Democrat Friendly Districts is either; an indication of massive incompetence by the people who run elections in democrat friendly districts, or a indication that massive fraud in those areas.
As a result Obama not only has no mandate, his re-election is so badly tainted by irregularities people can, and should ask reasonable questions about the legitimacy of his presidency. To make matters worse there’s a reason Why the GOP won’t challenge vote fraud
Which brings us to Florida and the contest between Congressman Allen West and Democrat Patrick Murphy
Florida’s St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections, Gertrude Walker should be named America’s Poster Child for “How Not to Run Elections”. She has a long history of not deleting dead voters, felons, and non-citizens from the voter records. I also understand she’s very lax in enforcing voter ID Laws. In short St. Lucie County is a perfect target for any one who wants to engage in voter fraud.
So much weird stuff happened in St Lucie on election day, and ever since it’s almost impossible to keep track of it all. John Fund over at the National Review Online does an excellent job of explaining most of it in West Fights On amid Vote-Recount Mayhem Here’s an excerpt:
Then there is Gertrude Walker, the 32-year-veteran election supervisor of St. Lucie County, who has spent much of the last two weeks explaining why her office completely botched the count. She admitted that her office had acted in “haste” in issuing election results, and that “mistakes were made.” Among her mistakes was failing to count 40 of the 94 precincts under her jurisdiction on Election Night — and then counting the other 54 twice. Indeed. On Friday, her office announced it had “discovered” 304 additional early votes left in a box. None had been counted

Yesterday reports started surfacing than one St Lucie Precinct had 900 votes counted. even though the Precinct only has 7 registered voters. You’d almost think Hugo Chavez, or his Chicago disciple, Bill Ayers orchestrated the whole thing?
After the state Board of Elections suggested a recount, St. Lucie County still managed to drag their feet and let the clock run out. No one knew how to deactivate the alarm system in the building they were using, so the recount was stopped at 10 o’clock Saturday night. On Sunday morning no one could figure out how to count ballots with write in candidates. Among other shenanigans, memory cards developed faulty memories and started forgetting things.
By law the county was required to send their certified results to the State Board of elections by 2:30 PM Sunday. Having managed to delay completion of the recount until the deadline County Officials made Patrick Murphy Florida’s Congressman for the 18th District based on results that have been proven to be inaccurate.
Patrick Murphy could care less if incompetence, irregularities, obvious fraud, double counting and refusing to count votes, are the sole reason for his victory, he is demanding his seat in Congress..
The Florida Board of Elections has promised an audit, however the best we can hope for is some serious changes in the way, St. Lucie County’s Board of Elections operates. With luck, they’ll find a few crooked officials who belong in jail for election rigging put them there. It is highly unlikely that they will overturn the results, unless people demand they do something. Then they may do a recount. While there’s no shortage of grounds to justify a recount, as I understand it, there’s no requirement they do one. Murphy will try every trick his lawyers can dream up to keep it from happening.
I have no idea what outcome of a full audit and total recount would be. West may win, he may not, but the people of Florida’s 18th district are entitled to the representation they voted for.
To some degree, every representative elected in every district across the country affects all of us. Whoever wins the final outcome of Florida’s 18th congressional district will help determine the laws that affect us for years to come. While the outcome of Florida’s 18th should be determined by the people who live in district, the rest of us in the right to ensure that the winner was elected by the voters and not by fraud or election officials incompetency.
If you live in Florida’s 18th, regardless of who you support it would be a good time to send an e-mail to Gov. Scott demanding a recount and an investigation. If Murphy was legitimately elected he won’t be able to serve his district if he gets to Washington with a cloud of illegitimacy hanging over his head. If he didn’t win honestly everyone needs to know that as well.
The rest of us can help out. As I mentioned earlier every one of us is affected one way or another by the actions of every member of Congress. The House of Representatives has the right to refuse to seat a member for whatever reason they deem appropriate. It is a power that they seldom use, for good reason, it would be too easily abused by the majority party. However in this case there’s indisputable proof of a badly bungled election process.
It is time to start an e-mail campaign and a twitter blizzard asking your Congress-critter to help begin the process to deny Patrick Murphy seat Congress unless and until an investigation and recount is completed by the state of Florida. Lady Raven as a list of twitter handles for every current Member of the House with a twitter account:
You can go to the homepage for the US House of Representatives click find your Representative, and e-mail your congress-person from there. His.Her contact page will also have phone numbers, so call ‘em. If we do it now. Congress will put pressure on Florida to conduct appropriate recount and a thorough investigation.
We cannot trust the federal government to conduct an investigation into this. Atty. Gen. Eric Holder has spent the last four years setting the table in a way that would allow this sort of thing to happen. He has fought against states right to require voter identification, he’s tried repeatedly to thwart efforts to purge voter rolls, in short he may be one of the primary reasons we have to deal with this situation.
The investigation has to be done by the State of Florida..
It’s up to us
