Giffords Endorsed Barber takes Arizona Seat for Dems

I suppose it must be some sort of law. All close political races that aren’t decided on election night will end with the Democrat on top. What’s up with that? I think you know.

Republican candidate Colonel Martha McSally led before the recount started. On Saturday, Democrat Ron Barber declared victory with a 1400 vote margin. Barber is Gabby Giffords’ former district director and she endorsed his candidacy.

From The Hill:

His bid for a full term, however, proved to be excruciatingly close. Both Barber and McSally held leads after election night and, by late Friday, Barber had a 1,402-vote margin with more than 285,000 votes cast in the race.

The AP determined that with only 15,000 provisional ballots left to be counted in Pima County, McSally would be unable to overcome Barber’s lead.

The Barber victory gives the Democrats a clean sweep of the 3 contested Arizona House seats. Have you heard a word from Republican leadership about this hotly contested race? No? Seems Boehner and pals are too busy caving on taxes to worry about a little ol’ house seat in Arizona.

Doncha just love the Republican establishment’s rules of engagement?

Of course the other shoe is that since Boehner took over and made the indispensable Fred Upton chairman of the Energy Committee, Obama and Chu and the gang have been able to funnel billions and billions to fake “renewable energy” companies, We conveniently find out about this months and months later, of course, after the scam artists have been able to stash as much of it away as possible and circuit big piles of it back into Organizing for Obama. Because John and Fred and Reince and Mitch and Orrin and the gang are just so……capable.
