One company went to court to stop the Obama Administration from taking away their right to not adhere to the onerous requirement that they must make abortificiants and the pill available to their employees through their health insurance. They won today. They of course went alone but the Catholic Church is going big to keep their Religious Rights as well, they are going to the Supreme Court. Of course none of this will mean a hill of beans on Tuesday November 6th when the man who decided to take away the 1st Amendment right of all Americans in his horrendous healthcare legislation is fired.
The leftists of this country want to continue to make the immoral/moral to change the manner in which a decent society lives so as to make immorality the way we all live. We are fortunate that a majority of Americans disagree with that type of living and refuse to allow the Marxist in Chief to take away ANY of their rights. Obamacare is the 1st Amendment, in a second Administration he would be coming for the 2nd Amendment. His EPA is hitting at our fifth Amendment every day and truth be told each and every Democrat who lives under the Marxist creed and their justices they put on the Supreme Court would destroy our entire Constitution. We The People will stop these maniacs in their tracks on Tuesday. So congratulations to the little store (engine) that refused to stop in its tracks and kept right on going A Win For Religious Liberty
A Catholic-owned family business in Michigan does not have to comply with the provision of the new U.S. healthcare law that requires private employers to provide employees with health insurance that covers birth control, a federal judge in Detroit has ruled.
U.S. District Judge Robert Cleland, in a ruling late Wednesday, temporarily blocked the government from forcing the owner of Weingartz Supply Company, which sells outdoor power equipment, to include contraception in its health coverage of employees.
The ruling only affects the company’s Catholic proprietor, Daniel Weingartz, and the approximately 170 people who work for him. But it opens the door for other firms to seek relief on religious grounds.
Cleland is now the second federal judge to temporarily block part of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 from being enforced against the religious owners of a family business. In July, U.S. District Judge John Kane in Denver temporarily prevented the government from requiring the Catholic owners of Hercules Industries Inc, a private manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, to provide health insurance that covers birth control.
Everything big starts with one small step, and today a small step was taken, Tuesday November 6th will be a giant leap in stopping this atrocity on people of faith.
