It is our job as conservatives to save those who cannot save themselves. Stop the gravy train of giveaways to the rich and invest in America! I always say there are about 11% of those 47% who love their Country more than themselves, and then there are those who think they have no options but government checks or drug dealing. I am encouraging Gov. Mitt Romney, Congressman Allen West, Congressman Benishek and any other Conservative congressperson whose cities have been destroyed, and robbed blind by Democrats lining their own pockets, to go after those people with the best idea that ever hit an inner city or an Appalachian town! Experimental Entrepreneurial Courts, now hear me out, I work in finance, those kids, and when I say kids, I mean 16 and under and in some circumstances perhaps up to 18 if no prior arrests. These kids are businessmen and women, they just don’t know it, because they haven’t been taught it. They know their profit margins and they know their cost, and they know their overhead on those drug deals; that is a businessperson.
No one is going to deny the product that they are selling is deadly, but it is the only product they have known from prior generations of family members or gangbangers on the street, so upon their first arrest (in certain circumstances let them have a second chance), they ought to be taken to juvenile court and given the opportunity to participate in a year long business class, with all the boring and exciting options that freedom of opportunity brings. These kids only emulate that which they see, and if you can get businesspeople of all backgrounds to come in and tell them how they made it, they just might be inspired. When I think of some of the biggest business ventures in my lifetime and before my lifetime (think Ford), a majority of businesses were started by men and women who didn’t even have 7th grade educations. So it isn’t even about the educational propaganda from public schools, it is about the business acumen they can gain from getting the basic fundamentals of a business education. If Governor Romney, and the aforementioned congresspeople, and Paul Ryan, whose city in his state is just as desperate as all the others the Democrats have raped, they will be speaking to at least another 20% of the electorate in that 47%.
Billionaires like George Kaiser of Solyndra, or the billionaire who owns PBS do not need our tax dollars, and Hollywood doesn’t need tax breaks. What is needed to restore America as an economic force in the world, is business educated youth, not socially programed youth. So if you know someone in the campaigns of a conservative Congressperson and/or Governor Romney’s staff, the commercials write themselves. Your child, not Big Bird, needs the tax dollars to make America strong again – but not in the equal outcome way of the Leftists – put the money into equal opportunity and common sense. These kids, at age 4 or 5 do not dream of becoming a big drug dealer someday, they dream of being the President of the United States…but their unionized, propagandized schools and their deteriorating neighborhoods kill those dreams. Republicans, under the banner of conservatism, can fill those dreams instead of sending them to jails to make them even more hardened criminals! I will also note that the NAACP agrees w/the TEA Party (not exactly of like mind) on stopping the extreme 10-20 year jail sentences handed down to young black youth for one little bag of crack cocaine while the white or Hispanic coke dealer, who has it in powder form, gets 5 years!
Mr. JEALOUS: Yes, I know, exactly. But, you know – and in Texas right now, we’re pushing 18 smart on crime bills with the support of the Tea Party. Today at a press conference it’ll be me and Grover Norquist and the head of the largest prison guards union and the most powerful in the country, the CCPOA, the California prison guards union, who also heads up Corrections USA.
And so we’ve been able to get bipartisan support on the ground at the state level. We’ve been able to get bipartisan support inside the beltway amongst various interest groups. Hopefully that’ll spill over to Congress, but even if it takes a while to get to Congress, the reality is that most of these laws and most of these cases happen at the state level. And so making big reforms in states like New York, Texas, South Carolina soon, we hope in Georgia – it really starts to add up.
Herman Cain talked about empowerment zones in these dilapidated neighborhoods where the people get loans from banks at 0% to start a business, the banks trade dollars at 0% why shouldn’t these neighborhoods along with the business “jail” I think we start to see cities that become places of power not despair.
