ANOTHER DEFINING MOMENT:

Collusion:  col·lu·sion   noun     \kə-ˈlü-zhən\

Secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose

  • The company was acting in collusion with manufacturers to inflate prices.
  • There was collusion between the two companies to fix prices (or, perhaps, the outcome of a Presidential Race)

September 12, 2012, TheRightScoop.com:
EXCLUSIVE: Open mic captures press coordinating questions for Romney “no matter who he calls on we’re covered”
ARI SHAPIRO, NPR: …pointing out that the Republicans… *unintelligible* …Obama….
.
JAN CRAWFORD, CBS NEWS: That’s the question.
.
ARI SHAPIRO, NPR: *unintelligible*
.
JAN CRAWFORD, CBS NEWS: Yeah that’s the question. I would just say do you regret your question.
.
ARI SHAPIRO, NPR: Your question? Your statement?
.
JAN CRAWFORD, CBS NEWS:  I mean your statement. Not even the tone, because then he can go off on…
.
ARI SHAPIRO, NPR: And then if he does, if we can just follow up and say ‘but this morning your answer is continuing to sound…’ – *becomes unintelligble*
.
JAN CRAWFORD, CBS NEWS:  You can’t say that..
.
**Later**
.
JAN CRAWFORD, CBS NEWS:  I’m just trying to make sure that we’re just talking about, no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question.
.
 ARI SHAPIRO, NPR:
Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?
.
Thanks to the folks at TheRightScoop.com for finding this audio.  It confirms what many of us suspected for a long time…
Meanwhile, in Yemen:
US Embassy – Yemen – September 13, 2012
As I type this I’ve seen reports that US Embassies in Tunisia and Yemen have been involved in skirmishes with ‘peace-loving (a.k.a.:  Radical) Muslims’.
.
Isn’t it odd then that the Media are focused not on what the President’s Administration is doing about the situation in Egypt, but rather, what Mitt Romney SAID about the situation?
.
I guess it’s easier NOT do anything than to take a stand for SOMETHING.
.
My hat is off to Mitt Romney for speaking the truth.
.
Conversely, I hold the Obama Administration, the State Department, and the above referenced ‘useful idiots’ in Udder Contempt.
.
Pray for our citizens around the World representing US in these directionless times.
.
While the Middle East burns, I’m sure that the President is off to campaign somewhere.
.
Good for him.
.
Bad for the World.

My name is Mike Kane. I've been writing stories for years. Most are a release valve from the weirdness of everyday life. Some of these will find their way here, others will fade off into the ether. A select few will be sent via e-mail directly to friends, family, and sometimes complete strangers (you have been warned (assuming that you are 'completely strange')). I've been in Sales all of my adult life. Sometimes sales are good, sometimes sales are bad, but in reality, 'life' is always good (regardless of sales). Well, 'LIFE' is a lot better than the alternative, at least...

  1. The propaganda media has declared war on Republicans/Conservatives. When are we going to quit bitching about media bias(for decades now) and do something about it. Why do we battle on the left’s terms? We should be focusing on the lefts achilles heel, the media. the media is the left’s supply line, yet we do nothing to attempt to cut it off. Sununu and Gingrich aren’t enough. We need media bootcamp for all Republicans, how to fire back in the biased reporter’s face, challenging their question premise, challenging their sources, asking them who they voted for, calling out their bias.

I’m sick and tired of our side playing nice with the hostile media. It is DANGEROUS to acknowledge that they are legitimate as it sends the wrong message to America. Why we enable the hostile drive by media is beyond me.

Even a little coordinated effort here would make huge gains in a hurry.

    • It’s the age-old problem, Cents. “We have to show we’re better than them.”
“If we can’t say anything nice, we’ll just be quiet.” The Republican boot camp on the media is a good idea. Michelle Bachman had a boot camp for incoming freshmen on the Constitution. But she gets no support from the party leaders, who are a bunch of misogynist good old boys.
When Krauthammer and Will announce their resignation from the Washington Post Writers Group and indict the entire journalism profession and from whence it sprang, we will know there is hope. Until then, whatever tactics can be used, including ridicule, , boycott, misdirection subterfuge and righteous slander, against named persons, are A-OK. No respect, no quarter.

  2. Just spotted an article on Yahoo news that ‘weighs’ the political advantage for Obama regarding the ongoing malevolence from the ‘Arab Spring’. It was written by two guys from the AP. With creative writing like this it’s no wonder so many people turn to alternative media sources for their news, information, and some vague sense of normalcy in the world.
Measuring the tragedy in the middle east and around the world by potential political gain, or disadvantage? Shameless. I just left my comment on the site, if you’d like to read what two of the AP’s crack (smoking) reporters have to say, follow this link… https://news.yahoo.com/foreign-policy-forefront-romney-hurdle-074217550–election.html
Folks, we are pretty much on our own these days. And that, I must say, gives me a fair amount of comfort.

    • Besides the tenor of the piece, which was complete hogwash trying to take the focus off Obama’s ineptness, the fact that there are not just the two authors but two other individuals who “contributed” to the piece tells us it was a coordinated, cohesive hit piece. Add the fact that the photo of Romney was chosen to show him looking down with pursed lips as if troubled was meant to bolster the author’s meme that this whole affair was bad for Romney. They are desperately trying to avoid the obvious Carter-Obama comparison by deflecting everything away from Obama.
