Allen West Asks: Are You Ready?

In 2010, retired Lieutenant Colonel Allen West rode the tea party and his fiery, constitutional speech-making to upset incumbent Democrat Ron Klein in Florida’s 22nd district. West was a one man army, untiring and unrelenting in his efforts to win the seat. Since his victory, the DNC has West at the top of their hitlist. That’s all the more reason for constitutional conservatives to support him.

After this year’s re-districting in Florida, West is now running for re-election in FL-18. In early June, he kicked off his campaign in typical West fashion. I think you will find it inspiring:

West: This election is all about the choice between two futures. It is an equality of opportunity that we have in America. Either we can stand together against the forces of government over-reach or you can surrender . . . surrender your decision making process. . . surrender your individual sovereignty to a bunch of self-proclaimed political elites trying to plan out your life from cradle to grave.

So, what do you say? Are you ready to make a stand against for the longest running constitutional republic the world has ever known? Because I tell you if you are, I am ready to stand with you!

The time has come for us to re-commit to our fundamental principles . . .the fundamental principles of sovereignty and not servitude, of serving a higher cause, not submitting to a higher authority.

Allen West has invoked the name of Spartacus for his campaign. You gotta love that. Go here to help Allen West.

Texas native. Conservative small businessman with 31 years experience. Government should roll back the nanny state. No country can tax its way to prosperity. The question isn't who will let me but who will stop me?

I really love this man. I’ve had the privilege of meeting him twice. A gentleman, not afraid to speak his mind, smart and would make a good veep.

Many of the people I donated to in 2010 disappointed me (some because they lost) but I’ve never regretted a penny of my Allen West donation.  He is the epitome of a citizen legislator.
