It just keeps getting worse, doesn’t it? After the Clinton climax in the Oval Office, apparently anything goes. Forget the blue dress. Now, we have gay activists invited to the Obama (not for long) White House. Should anyone be surprised they took time to flip the bird under a portrait of President Reagan. How classy. How perverted. And the band plays on while the country is dragged further into the cultural sewer.
What we are witnessing is a degeneration of respect for American institutions and a collapse of personal bearing. The activists who reveled in taking obscene photographs crossed an unspoken line of protocol that should have never been overstepped. Whether you are heterosexual or homosexual, Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, what happened in the White House should be thoroughly condemned by everyone.
I’m reminded of the story of U.S. Navy Admiral Chester Nimitz who, daughter at his side, once observed a presidential motorcade passing by. Annoyed that she simply stood idly watching, Nimitz scolded, “Whether you salute Roosevelt or not is up to you, but you are going to salute the President.” She did. — Washington Times
The “collapse of personal bearing.” That sums up of the public behavior of Barack Hussein Obama. His policies and goals are even worse. The American people are not blind. The American people respect the office of the president but not the man who holds the position. They see Obama mocking their traditions and denying the exceptionalism of America. They will cast him out in November and Americans will go about the business of reclaiming what it means to be an American. It will be a long hard slog but America will be reborn.
Obama and the little intellectual elite seeking fundamental American transformation had better get out of town. You failed. You meddled with the primal nature of things and you have a choice . . . go quietly into the dustbin or “bring it,” in which case the better half of America will happily respond.
