“God is Dead” – a debunking

It sounds so simple, but yet, sometimes the simplest of things are seemingly impossible when we twist them long enough.

I was once told by a pastor that Betty Crocker cake mix, when it was first introduced back in the 30s (or whenever), required nothing added but water. Somehow, cooks messed them up: it couldn’t be THAT simple?? They added things that caused the cakes to fail. General Mills altered the formula and recipe so it now required the addition of eggs, and with that people were satisfied: it wasn’t “too easy” anymore.

Seriously, people who are able to believe that aliens visit Earth and abduct people into their spacecraft to administer anal probes and return them with their memories wiped seem to have a problem with a being in the universe so advanced that it transcends space-time? That it can re-order matter with a mere thought and create life? That it can love them? That it took the form of a man to fulfill it’s own precepts concerning life and law?

And they call themselves “free-thinkers”…

This video is in response to the claims of the “New Atheism.” One that has been presented by the likes of Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and the late Christopher Hitchens. One who holds faith is NOT irrational. Science and reason are not incompatible with faith in fact they compliment each other very well because they come from the same source, God. We hope that this video touches the hearts of many people. If you seek to dialogue in the commentary below please be respectful of those you are communicating with. Slander, foul language and the like will not be tolerated. May God, who is fully alive, bless each viewer.

Fr. Pontifex:

God is dead or a delusion that’s what they say,
the opiate of the masses just to get through the day.
Arrogant thinkers who quote scientists, philosophers and more
with eloquent Articulations and academic insulations with an infantile core.
Staging hateful attacks on a faith based creation,
with more force and venom but with less sophistication.
A Rational, Mathematical Universe with an intricate Design
Complex systems in the Universe and inside the mind,
and this just came to be, spontaneously, without definition?
It takes a lot more faith to be an atheist than a Christian.
You make the word faith synonymous with irrationality
When science uses faith, on that we must agree.
The Universe is Rational, Lawful, and Corresponds One to One with our Brains,
These are tenants of faith that the scientific method maintains.
So let’s refrain from an arrogant attack where science can’t reach,
Many things are known that the empirical method can’t teach.
God is not one thing in the Universe to be measured and verified.
He is the independent, transcendent uncaused cause of all inside.
You imitate our virtues and say they can be lived without God or creed
but they follow our moral structure and you deny you follow our lead.
People have been killed in the name of religion that cannot be denied.
But you say without religion peace and harmony will thrive?
The Spanish Inquisition three thousand, the Salem witch trials nineteen,
but millions upon millions slaughtered in atheistic regimes
How dark this world would be without faith, love and Divine light
We all have a conscience discerning what’s wrong and right
Each human heart desires much more than this life can’t get
To deny the existence of a Transcendent God is the ultimate opiate
You can numb the minds assent to the truth and faith you can refuse
But In the end man stands between God and nothingness and He must choose.

I have been in God’s safe keeping since before time was a breath of moment and will be ever after time ceases to be.

There will always be room for the atheists in America, but they must never be allowed to set the premise, for they did not create, found or inspire this country.  We will tolerate much, but we will not tolerate lies.  The proposition that there is a Wall of Separation  between the American State and religion in the US Constitution is a lie.  The Wall of Separation was a phrase in a private letter to the Danbury Baptists.  Christine O’Donnell will be forever and ever absolutely correct in her understanding of the US Constitution.
What is absolutely baffling in the behavior of the atheistic left is that they continually and perpetually keep proposing political  justifications for the God-fearing majority in this country to throw justice and mercy out the window and place them all in a boat  and cast it adrift to join the Man Without A Country.

The Separation of Church and State means that the “State” does not espouse an official religion. That in order to get ahead a person had to belong to a certain State sanctioned religion. That was left behind in the old country.

The State answers to Us-We The People- for its actions and we answer to God for our individual actions.

I wish the unbelievers would stop pushing their hearts desires on the rest of us.

I found it interesting in the godless Soviet bloc, the only people who bought into atheiam was in fact, the masses, who Lenin always said  religion served as an opiate for. Opposite to us, the intellectuals, the scientists, were most prone to keeping their religion.

Religion is coming back in many of  those places, especially Russia, but very slowly, and may explain explain why she’s turning out as she is. Not good. That our “masses” still cling strongly to God is the best news we can have.

I often hear how all these really smart physicists saying the universe is continuing to expand.  Expand into what?  And what is on the other side of the other side?

When the atheists can answer these questions . . . oh, wait.  To infinity and beyond!  Whatever that is.
