The Democrats, year in and year out, throw the blacks to the wolves; their neighborhoods run by Democrats, never improve – they only grow worse. That Barack Obama came out for gay marriage knowing full well that over 70% of black Americans do not agree with it, was just the latest slap in the face. When Barack goes to stand with “average” Americans each year, he makes it a point to appear with white families, you never see him engage the inner city blacks. He doesn’t have to, does he? No he doesn’t, and neither do other Democrats running for office in those cities. They expect and they receive 90+% of the black vote year in and year out. There is no hold the black people have over these candidates; the candidates have no fear that they won’t be reelected. It’s a cakewalk for them.
After becoming politically aware and watching Democrats very close for over a decade, I can honestly say, they use, abuse and take for granted this vulnerable group of people who the Democrats owe their very existence to. Here is a more realistic promise to the black community: the GOP will respect you and your vote and turn those cities into free enterprise zones, and bring them up to the shining cities on a hill they should be. They’ll dismantle the Democrat slave plantation you’ve been trapped on for decades. You can be free. It can be done.
If the black community ignored Democrats for an election cycle, they might find that they again will be chased after like very other “victim” group. They of course will not do so, because as LBJ said “once we pass this civil rights legislation, the black will vote Democrats for the rest of our lives,” he was quite prescient! I Don’t Expect The Black Community To Vote For Romney But Damn It At Least Stay Home And Make The Democrats Respect Your Vote.
President Obama’s headline-grabbing flip-flop on gay marriage may cost him dearly in the more religious parts of the black community, reports CNN today, as pastors tell their congregations the president is wrong in stepping in. In a report on the divide over social issues in the black community, Athena Jones speakers to Rev. Dr. Emmett Burns, who insists that, while he and his peregrines won’t support Mitt Romney, they have no interest in going to the polls.
Do not let anyone take your most sacred American beliefs, your dignity and that which makes us all equal – your vote – for granted ever again.
