No matter which candidate the GOP runs, the Democrats will smear them with bogus threats to contraception. GOP voters and candidates need to say something like the following.
Are you doing better today than you were before Obama got into office? Do you have more money left over at the end of the month? Is your marriage or romantic life better? Do you feel like your freedoms to eat what you want, travel when you want, tend to your own health, and raise children the way you want are going away? Is your house worth more or less? Are your loans and utilities getting easier to pay or harder? How much does it cost you to fill up your gas tank every month? How much does government interfere with your life and threaten to interfere more? Do you expect it to get better or worse with the Obama policies? Vote on that.
As far as the candidates’ religious beliefs go, do you believe in religious freedom for yourself? For others? Do you believe that candidates have the right to keep their own religion? Should it matter if a candidate is a Catholic, a Muslim, a communist? The Republican Party will work to reduce the size and power of government so that it cannot look into your bedroom, your kitchen, your kid’s lemonade stand, or anywhere else in your private and personal life. If the Republicans shrink the size of government, their personal beliefs will not matter because the government will be defanged and declawed. Democrats want to increase the size and power of government so it interferes with your life every day, every hour. They want the government and the IRS to have more and bigger fangs and claws. They already have created enough laws that you can be arrested any day for doing something you didn’t even know was a crime. They promise they won’t interfere with you in your bedroom, but we have heard them talking about sterilization programs for poor women and limits on how many children you can have. Plus they have already gotten in-between you and your doctor. You will not be able to make your own medical decisions in the future, or afford medical insurance even half as good as the coverage you have today, if Obamacare is not repealed.
Are you going to vote on real issues, or on a dumb joke about holding aspirin between your knees?
