Guns Up for Palin

They have called Sarah Palin radioactive, and that came from one of the so-called leading lights on the bloggy right. “Radioactive* is nothing compared to some of the slings and arrows Sarah has suffered. Can you think of any other politican so hotly pursued and so damned by her critics?

Betcha can’t find another example of a so called “journalist” moving in next door (for months) to spy on a politico and her family. What a rat bastage but anything goes against Palin. Through it all she has remained steadfast in her beliefs. While wishful thinkers say she’s tarnished and out of favor, she has a constitutional army that remains the wind beneath her wings.

Today, at CPAC we saw the undeniable evidence of the conservative affection for Sarah Palin. The bottom feeders from the Occupy crowd tried to interrupt Sarah as she was taking it to Obama and then this happened:

That’s right Sarah … “You see you just won. You see how easy that is?”

As our friend Cold Warrior says of Palin, “This woman fights!”

Boehner? . . . Boehner? . . . Boehner? . . . McConnell? . . . . Yeah.

  1. Every time I hear her, and see the crowds who believe in her, it’s difficult to understand why we are likely facing Nov. 2012 with a milquetoast candidate like Mitt Romney. No, not that we don’t know who and what Romney is, we do, but that we haven’t yet been able to knock out the elitist GOP Establishment. Sarah emphasized a “conservative” being in the presidency in 2013, I hope she has a crystal ball.

  2. The one and only thing I have a quibble with Governor Perry on, and he probably, and his staff, didn’t think about it, is him going on the Letterman show earlier this fall. David Letterman is a despicable human being. After he mocked Palin and her family, he made an apology which was as phony as the day is long. He should have been fired immediately after the incident without even further review. Think about all the TV and radio hosts who have been canned for arguably less heinous crimes.
Of course the Perry campaign was seeking exposure, and that’s conventional wisdom, I suppose. Going on late night comedians’ talk shows and all. What a sad state of affairs that there are no primetime, issue-oriented forums in the mass market except the staged, reality show-tinged thingies. For their flaws, at least the Republican debates this season have provided some small offering of substance. Que sera, sera. Que Sarah. sera?
