Four GOP Candidates Get It and Three Do Not

This is the best video I’ve seen for putting into perspective just how much our federal government is going in the wrong direction. Of the seven GOP candidates for president only four of them get this. Ron Paul is NOT one of the four. He has all the wrong reasons and means for any of his proposed outcomes.

The four candidates who get it:

  • Rick Perry
  • Jon Huntsman
  • Newt Gingrich
  • Michele Bachmann

The three candidates who don’t:

  • Mitt Romney
  • Rick Santorum
  • Ron Paul

After the Iowa and New Hampshire contests the field may be winnowed down, and three of the four who understand the debt issue facing America may drop out of the race. If they stay in the race, then they may run out of campaign funds. I am a Rick Perry supporter, and I want my country going in the right direction. We not only need to fire Obama this November, but we also need to elect someone who gets it.

  1. Amen. And for those Republicans all to willing to cut national defense because there is no place else to cut – that is a lie. I can point to tens of millions in my local community alone that have nothing to do with entitlements , but just plain pork and federal “mandates”. “getting it” has a lot to do with the Tenth Amendment.

  2. I am a bit fuzzy on the exact time frame but I think it was about a year ago that Sen. Coburn announced about 350 billion PER YEAR in duplicative programs alone. I have yet to hear anything more about any possible elimination of said duplicative programs. OMG noooooo… if that happened some little G15 might actually have to pound the pavement with the rest of us schlemiels and that would never, ever do.
This is, of course, before we get to something especially near and dear to my cold, cold heart… medicaid fraud… which costs taxpayers somewhere north of 70 billion a year and which never gets investigated.
So instead they whack the dollars out of the military. Great job, fellas.

  3. As well as medicaid, Suzanne, what about SSI and SSD fraud? All you see in the ads on TV are the Obama-AARP ads about Medi-CARE fraud (which has to do with funding O’care). No, I have seen no follow-up on Coburn’s thing. Nor have I seen any follow-up on Inofe’s expose of global warming fraud, which is costing us billions.
