Operation Silent Night, Mission Accomplished, Richmond Animal League

(h/t to Arwen, Unified Patriots reader, cat lover and RALย  supporter.)

The Richmond Animal League isn’t just your ordinary animal shelter. They go around the state trying to rescue animals on death row at other shelters, due to lack of funds.

On 16- 23 Dec they ran Operation Silent Night, offering 177 animals that had been rescued from other shelters. Yesterday they announced that all 177 had found homes.

Watch this for a few sweet moments and a little glisten in the eye..

How nice.

And please pass this on if you also love these little creatures, as these people are doing God’s work. You can see they’ve made an awful lot of people happy.

If you have an RAL-type mission in your area, please support them.

  1. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, the pictures were so incredibly sweet. Amazing and how happy all those people were with the animals. I think this tops Christmas stories this year.

Please tell Arwen how much we appreciated it. Also, I wonder if she could put it on YouTube – it would help spread their story near and far.

  2. Unlike a lot of humans, animals give unconditional love. Our local shelter has always been in the top 5 of my donations list. The last kitty I picked from the shelter I did so deliberately because she was a worst looking one of the whole bunch. So skinny and hardly any hair. Now she rules our house. ๐Ÿ˜€
