Scholastic Is Propagandizing Your Children: Pay Attention!

So Scholastic decides to throw some tripe into their reader for young children creating the impression that Occupy Wall Street is somehow something good and something for children to emulate. #OWS has been the in your face sickness that has taken this Country down so quickly. Empire’s have lasted a thousand years prior to us, I suspect America won’t make it to 300 years as the leftists will have destroyed us by then. It isn’t enough for you to fight your Congresspeople to make definable change you MUST, MUST, MUST go to your child’s school and be a participant and call them out when they are propagandizing your child! Marx, Hitler, Stalin Would All Be So Proud At The Educational System In America Under Unions

Scholastic Inc. is a nearly century-old educational publishing company that distributes books, magazines, and other teaching materials through the schools.

If you have kids (or remember from your own grade-school days), Scholastic puts out news bulletins that get sent home weekly or monthly.

One of those items is Scholastic News, which bills itself as “America’s Leading News Source for kids.”

Reader Edward has a daughter in fourth grade who brought home the December issue of Scholastic News — and he wasn’t too happy when he saw the publication’s coverage of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Once you are awake it is up to you to wake up your neighbors and your family, you cannot let this continue to go, or this generation will be the generation that lost America.

  1. It’s everywhere. They’ve even co-opted the Muppets.

This has been a hot topic around our house this week, as our 13-year old has really been looking forward to seeing the movie. Our first parental reaction was to skip it entirely, but I think instead we’re going to take her to see it and use it as a teachable moment about the insidiousness of propaganda.

  2. We’d better stop the Marxists from indoctrinating our children or it won’t matter what we do in 2012, the future will be lost due to our own ineptitude and apathy in preparing for it.

Wasn’t it Reagan who said we are always only one generation away from losing our freedom? What good will it do us to fight for it, if we don’t teach our children the difference between the truth and the lies of the left?
