He didn’t literally punch him in the face. But House Government Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa thoroughly dressed Holder down, badgered him, shouted him down, interrupted him several times, called him out, and called him a crook, right there in an open committee hearing. (Rep. Issa’s questions begin at the 3:30 mark.)

Were you dismayed by Issa?
Now tell the truth. As a conservative, did Issa’s behavior dismay you as overly rude, or did you go high-fiving everybody in the house? If your gut reaction was along the lines of “You can’t treat the Attorney General that way!”, or “well, THAT wasn’t every polite”, or even “the voters will turn against us if we challenge the Democrats so directly” — if that was your reaction — then you need to sit down, and we need to talk. Because let me tell you, brother, we need a whole lot more people like Issa — and Limbaugh, Levin, Poe, DeMint, and Napolitano (the judge, not the land mass) — and a whole lot less people like Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, Rove, Morris, Krauthammer, Coulter, and Romney.

We have a dedicated, relentless enemy…
You see, it is far past time to negotiate with the enemy, or to persuade him, or reason with him, or “kill him with kindness”. The Left has been busy dismantling freedom and the free market for 80 years now, never resting, never sleeping, taking a bridge here, a road there, infiltrating a village , then taking it from within. Always moving forward. But with the landslide elections of 2006 and 2008, 60-40 ratios in both House and Senate to go with the most dedicated socialist of a president ever, the Left saw blood in the water, and went for it all.

I think the years 2009-2010, in the sense of American governance, speak for themselves.

…who needs a swift punch in the mouth….
As you know, all this caused the Tea Party. The smashing success of the 2010 elections — a historic-scale beatdown on federal, state, and local levels — was caused because the American people rose up, let their voices be heard, then played nice, negotiated with the enemy, nominated a bunch of moderate candidates, and found common ground.

Right? Um, not exactly.

Tea Party America smashed the Left because they opened several 55-gallon barrels of industrial-grade WhupA$$™, grabbed the Lefties by the throat, threw them down, stomped on their faces, and picked them up, slammed them against the wall, elbowed them in the guts, forearm-shivered them a couple of times, kicked them in the cods, and threw them down again.

That is what happened in November 2010. And that is how you win, how you beat evil. You don’t romance it, you smack the crap out of it.

…not a belly rub
As you know, the American people sent 80+ new people to Washington with a loud mandate to stop the Left’s agenda in its tracks and start taking the country back. That bunch promptly got co-opted by the Vichy Republicans. While the most radical elements of the Left agenda were blunted, in the end, the movement marched merrily on with new debts, new spending, and new regulations.

Our new soldiers showed a little bluster, a little bravado, and actually managed to change some of the terms of the debate. But they abandoned the mandate. The enemy is newly emboldened, confident that they have taken our best shot and survived.

After we break the siege of the Visigoths…
The truth is, in 2009-2010, they were unstoppable, they were gathering momentum. Then we stopped them. Not because we are cool, or because we are Texans (speaking for myself). But because we are America. We were born into a heritage of freedom, rugged individualism, personal strength. Want our freedom? As King Leonidas said, Molon Labe. Come and take it.

As the 2012 election season heats up, the GOP Establishment is again preaching appeasement, negotiation, “that’s the best deal we could get”, “the media will blame us for any shutdown”, be nice, don’t directly attack #SCOAMF, and let’s make sure we nominate somebody palatable to the independents. In a moment of history that calls for courage, they are desperately afraid of losing. While America is fighting to save that which made us great, the Establishment wants to play it safe.

…we follow them back to Dacia and burn them to the ground
The GOP Establishment, and the Left, they have no idea what is coming. The Tea Party movement is the heartbeat of America the Beautiful. It is fighting for survival, and it’s good and mad. The disappointment of the Congressional Class of 2010 has not discouraged them. It has hardened their resolve.

But there is a right way and a wrong way to go about this. The American people instinctively know what to do. But the GOP Elite, including the “conservative media”, have had their vision clouded. They are thoroughly intimidated by the Washington media, the Hollywood Universe Of Stupid, and the pollsters who stubbornly hold to their models. They do not see that America has been awakened, shaken, and stirred. So they preach more moderation, more compromise, more palatability. They fail to comprehend two simple things that were perfectly illustrated in November 2010: (1) The American people were not dissuaded by a hostile and deceitful media, and (b) the independents vote with conservatives when conservatives get all chippy, all loud and proud about conservative values.

The Left is the enemy of America, the enemy of freedom, the enemy of justice. They must be dealt with. They, far more than enemies abroad, are a threat to America. So they must be beaten, eradicated, and their soil salted so it won’t grow any new commies for 3 generations.

And now back to the business of Holder. This entire government is filled, top to bottom, with crooks and self-serving weasels. The way you deal with them is the way Issa is dealing with Holder. You take him down ugly. You pursue his misdeeds as far as they go. Politically speaking, you kill him, put his head on a pike, and parade it around Washington for a month, as a reminder to the Democrats that there is an end to their reign, that there are consequences for trying to steal our freedom. Let it be known that liberty is returning, and those who came to the government to pillage and plunder will be ground into powder and sprinkled onto the breakfast eggs of a new generation of American Patriots.

Go Issa go! The presidential candidate who goes after #SCOAMF with a vengeance, the congressional candidates who do the same, they will win huge. Then, starting January 20, 2013, we’ll see.

E Pluribus Unum
The weapons had evolved, but our orders remained the same: Hunt them down and kill them off, one by one. A most successful campaign. Perhaps too successful. For those like me, a Death Dealer, this signaled the end of an era. Like the weapons of the previous century, we, too, would become obsolete.

Pity, because I lived for it.
