Governor Rick Perry Officially Enters The Culture Wars

I cannot thank Rick Perry enough for saying what everyday traditional, conservative American citizens say on a daily basis. Rick Perry has voiced the disgust that a majority of Americans feel toward the hateful actions of the progressives in our society – who, for generations have been ripping God and Jesus Christ out of the public square – in order to create a hellhole on Earth that they can control and manipulate. The Democrats believe they can, and should, replace God with the government. In their warped world view Government is God. I don’t believe that and neither do the 42% of Americans who call themselves conservatives. We REJECT the federal government as God. Governor Perry, thank you and go get em! Shot Over The Bow:

The texas governor continues, saying, “But you don‘t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know that there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military, but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas and pray in school.”

Perry’s message is particularly timely, as it addresses the War on Christmas, which many see as a pervasive problem in American society. School prayer, another important issue for some religious voters, was also included in his pitch to Iowan voters. ”Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again,” Perry concludes.

  1. A lot of the kool kids and hipster political “analysts” over on da twittah are saying Perry talking about faith is a mistake… that he should stick to his record and jobs, jobs, jobs. Apparently they can see a way where the cultural rot in the country magically takes care of itself. I think not.

    • It is a contrast ad. People can accept Obamunism and its moral bankruptcy, or they can aspire to restore traditional America. It would be one thing if all we had was a free-for-all, but that is not the situation. The assault on our values is ongoing and intensifying, and we need to recognize the centrality of faith in our status as a free, self-governing people.

  2. I’m glad to see someone from our side pushing back against the constant encroachment of the culture of death and destruction the lefties promote.

It’s not just gays in the military, it’s the contempt toward the men of the family, the assault on the definition of marriage, the never-ending desire to murder and pay for the murder of as many intrauterine babies as possible.

With this ad, Perry declares himself to be on the side of traditional morality. Good for him for refusing to quake in cowardice and a shroud of political correctness.
