Portland Mayor Calls “Time Out” Sends OccupyPortland Away from the Table Without Supper

But they they refuse to go.

I just had to go down Chapman Square. I’m not sure what options are open to Mayor Sam Adams (no relation, trust me).

He called time out. He told the kids to go to their room, what else can a mayor do with the kids?

But they refused.

Having never been a parent I guess Sam just didn’t put any teeth into it. True to the way he was  raised I’m guessing, he never had has any arrows  in his quiver. (sic)

I assume he asked the cops to just shoo them away.

Stomping his feet, saying “I mean it! Now listen to me, I really do mean it.”

Of course the kids are celebrating, actually, yelling back “Nanny Nanny boo boo” and sticking their fingers up.

The poor cops are in a bad way, more ashamed of their mayor than they are of the little piggies not going “whee, whee, whee” all the home.

Up your nose with a rubber hose, Portland.

Oh, Reuters reports that while AP and CBS say Occupy Portland are celebrating, the kids are leaving the square and the park.

Tomorrow will tell.

On a totally unrelated note, Obama and Holder’s not wanting crack dealers to be saddled with felonious records and lengthy sentences because it makes it harder to get a job and thus …..feel good about themselves…is getting rave reviews and compliance at various levels… Read more »
