Four for the GOP, Two for Conservatives

If you want a debater with the attention span of a gnat, pick Newt Gingrich. If you want to destroy conservatives for another generation, pick Mitt Romney.

If you want proven leadership and a man who will gut some agencies, prosecute crooks and grow some jobs, pick Rick Perry. If you want to destroy the establishment and change the Republican party forever, pick Herman Cain.

I’m good with either Perry and Cain.

  1. Rush would be on your side on this. He is the only Conservative “pundit” understanding what is going on. It is a fool’s path the conservatives embark on if they join in the effort to take down the best conservatives in this race.

    • Oh that Newt, he is too smart to be serious.

Loved how he explained how to end the fraud in Medicare. Let American Express work their magic and in sixty days, we’d have a solution. And the VRWC crowd went wild . . . such sweet sophistry. I admit most any modern organization could do a better job than the Feds.

Here’s an oldie but a goody from Newt:

“If combat means living in a ditch, females have biological problems staying in a ditch for thirty days because they get infections and they don’t have upper body strength. I mean, some do, but they’re relatively rare. On the other hand, men are basically little piglets, you drop them in the ditch, they roll around in it, doesn’t matter, you know. These things are very real. On the other hand, if combat means being on an Aegis-class cruiser managing the computer controls for twelve ships and their rockets, a female may be again dramatically better than a male who gets very, very frustrated sitting in a chair all the time because males are biologically driven to go out and hunt giraffes.”

–Adjunct Professor Newt Gingrich, Reinhardt College, January 7, 1995, “Renewing American Civilization.”

    • We would all like another Reagan, I’m sure. I just feel so lucky to have been in the right place at the right time to have watched Reagan at work. Young folks that “carry on” about Reagan can’t know what he accomplished because they weren’t alive for the malaise he lifted. The man had shoulders.
