Mark Levin at the Defending the Dream Conference

Mark Levin gave the keynote speech at the Defending the American Dream Summit put on by Americans for Prosperity this weekend.

Many people don’t like Mark Levin, don’t like his voice, passion, whatever; but this is a speech you need to listen to.

Levin opened by saying (essentially) “We are here to Occupy the White House and the Senate.”

He said “Progress means the ability for each and every one of us to be able to make our own decisions regarding our own lives.”

We’re headed down a bad road, people, and our failure will absolutely dwarf anything that will happen in Greece or anywhere in the European Union.

The Occupy garbage is just the start. Now it can be laughed at, mocked, and ridiculed, but given enough time and leniency by the Democrat-controlled cities where the rabble is camping out, it’ll become more violent (it already is), and more people will get hurt.

November 2012 is critical to our survival as a nation. Not only do we need to kick as many Democrats out as possible, we need to get control of the “moderate” GOP as well. How do they continue to compromise with unconstitutional ideas and schemes? How can there even be “compromise” with that? Power is all they want, and it’s up to us to take it back, from both sides.

/rant off.

Now share the video below with everyone you know.

  1. Thanks for posting this. Now, here’s what we need to do.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that we conservatives are going into the 2012 election cycle splintered into all sorts of small groups, organizations, etc. AFP. FreedomWorks. Heritage Action. The various tea parties and 9.12 and other local conservative groups. Now we need to unite politically in a single organization where we can most effectively organize to Get Out The Vote. That happens to be a political party. And the BEST one for our purposes is the Republican Party. But, it’s not enough just to register. You have to take the next step. You have to become a voting member of it. By attending your local Republican Party committee meeting. To find out how to become a “precinct committeeman.” (It’s called different things in different states; every state has a unique system.) It’s easy and fun. And about half of these local voting slots within the Republican Party are VACANT. The Republican Party is at half strength. If conservatives fill up all the vacant slots, conservatives will OWN the Republican Party. Oh, and guess what — the moderates who run the Party at the RNC level don’t want you to do this. Every hear Reince Priebus or Michael Steele say, “Hey, you local registered Republicans, check out your local committee and find out how to become a voting member of the Party!” Wonder why not? It’s because it’s not in their self-interests to do so — because the precinct committeement elect the state delegates who in turn elect the RNC delegates who in turn elect the RNC officers.

So . . . I hope you’ll all ponder this and then, if you haven’t already, get going on finding out where YOUR local committee meets and get to the next meeting and find out how to become a PC. Meanwhile, go here:

Some of you won’t be able to do this, for various reasons. No matter. Just get involved in some way with the candidates of your choice and help them Get Out The Vote.

    Thank you.
