I’ve known for some time we have a commander in chief that would stop at nothing to be re-elected, including setting Americans against one another. Eat the rich say the 99%. Yeah, eat your golden goose, fools. What then? You’ve proven you can’t make your own way. Fools led by fools.
There’s a darn good bit of foolishness going on amongst the establishment Republicans and the Tea party constitutional conservatives. Nothing new there either. One side believes they are taxed more than enough already. They think the Constitution means what it says. What the establishment Republicans believes is somewhat squishy, once they get past their core principle of maintaining their power. It depends on what day of the week it is and what the latest focus groups have to say. They stay more or less in the middle of the road which makes them about as distasteful as most roadkill.
Right now, I don’t much care what the establishment thinks. Boehner, McConnell, Murkowski and Cornyn, et al, are pretty predictable. Nah, what’s got me singing the blues is the fact that while the country is burning down and our culture is being gutted, we conservatives are at each other over this, that and the other. Some of it matters. Too much of it is vanity.
We’re letting n-head rocks and 20 year old bullfeathers take our attention away from the defining issue of our time. We can’t let the lame stream media and petty differences get in the way of job number one- the defeat of Barak Hussein Obama. So I suggest the Caniacs and Perrybots refocus and I mean PDQ. Obama is going to have a billion dollars to throw at Republicans and you better believe he can win. The country is full of takers and he’s their guy. I’d vote for a yellow 3 legged dog before I’d vote for Obama. Can we agree on that?
I’ve seen enough angst and heartache between good people that have more in common than not. It’s drama focused on the wrong things. Things are pretty crappy out there in our former republic:
Social conservatives, libertarians and fiscal conservatives better get their stuff in one pile. It’s a lesson I can take myself: Join or die.
