If the GOP insiders think that we are sitting out here taking the liberal Romney as our candidate, they haven’t been paying attention. It wasn’t a fluke that the biggest upset in political history for over 70 years occurred in November 2010; it was We The People taking back our Country from the political elite. Now those same carbon copy liberals in the GOP have recently decided to call for an all out war against the TEA Party and yes, we accept the challenge. The first casualty will be Mitt Romney being put out of the primaries! If the inside the GOP jackass-lites think they have a defeated conservative base, they will be disappointed and surprised in the coming months.
It is Mitt Romney and his PROGRESSIVE side that ultimately will be the reason for his defeat. We do not need another Barack Obama with an R after his name, we need and we deserve a shot at having a Conservative in the White House – we have earned it. Wonder Who Mitt Would Have Named As His Green Czar?
This brings us onto still more common ground between Barack Obama and Willard “Mitt” Romney. From an official memo released by Willard’s office when he was Governor of Taxachusetts, announcing “Strict New Clean Air Regulations“:
Governor Mitt Romney today announced that Massachusetts will take another major step in meeting its commitment to protecting air quality when strict state limitations on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from power plants take effect on January 1, 2006. …
Massachusetts is the first and only state to set CO2 emissions limits on power plants. The limits, which target the six largest and oldest power plants in the state, are the toughest in the nation…
In addition to reaffirming existing stringent CO2 limits, the draft regulations announced today, which will be filed next week, contain protections against excessive price increases for businesses and consumers. They allow power generation companies to implement CO2 reductions at their own facilities or fund other reduction projects off-site through a greenhouse gas offset and credits program.
Sound familiar? Obama wanted to impose Cap & Trade nationwide, but it would so obviously cripple the economy that he couldn’t get it through a Democrat Senate that was radical enough to pass ObamaCare — the national version of RomneyCare.
Now to the even scarier part:
In the development of greenhouse gas policy, Romney Administration officials have elicited input from environmental and economic policy experts. These include John Holden [sic], professor of environmental policy at Harvard University…
Competence isn’t a common trait among bureauweenies. The reference is to John Holdren.
