#OccupyWallStreet: Are They Astroturf and Are They Dangerous?

Well, no, They’re not really astroturf and they aren’t dangerous for the United States, though they may be dangerous for some citizens. Now let me explain.

These “protests” have apparently been organized by some pretty major left wing organizations. The AFL-CIO, funded in large part by Stimulus Sr. dollars, is chipping in:

A Pennsylvania AFL-CIO representative told a group of “Occupy Harrisburg” participants that the unions stand with them and are prepared to provide resources for the protesters, including lawyers and meeting space.

Michael Fedor, the AFL-CIO’s director for the central Pennsylvania area, told attendees at an organizational meeting Wednesday that the pledge comes directly from AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

“The president of the AFL-CIO was on a call with us tonight and said I want you to communicate to “Occupy” groups that we are with them, and he’s directing local labor movements to put resources on the ground to help, including lawyers, including meeting spaces, including whatever we need,” Fedor said.
:snip:

Fedor compared the “Occupy” movement to the Arab Spring, and said he was prepared to get arrested alongside his fellow demonstrators.

“We’ve got to be willing to stay in the streets and when the clashes break out, that‘s when we’ve got to be willing to really understand what we’re getting into here,” he said. “If we see the cops coming, you know, we‘ve got to hold hands and we know what we’re in for. Get arrested, get out of jail, right back down.”

Trumka himself made a similar statement praising the demonstrations earlier this week, telling reporters the labor movement backs the protesters in New York City and elsewhere and will work with them “to make the top 1 percent pay their fair share.”

Some of them are being paid by left wing organizations to protest:

And to really ice the cake, the park in which they are “meeting” in NY is owned by a firm who just got $135 Million in sweet, sweet green cash from the Obama Administration. They “opened” the park to the public in mid-September and on September 23, the cash comes through. And guess who lobbies for them? A law firm founded by Joe Biden’s son which also has Mayor Bloomberg’s girlfriend on the Board of Directors. No, I’m not kidding. That’s not just fishy, that’s rancid.

So, it’s not astroturf because astroturf isn’t nearly as dirty as these crooked Chicago Democrats. As a matter of fact, other than the fact that manure actually has some value, this is more like a field of bull manure.

Now, are they dangerous? Well, yes, in a way. After all, Bill Ayers was just a dirty hippie too, but he managed to commit and/or assist in the commission of at least four deaths, an arson attack, plus the deaths of three of his fellow dirty hippies who were in the process of trying to blow up an Army Dance. Sort of like our own home-grown domestic underwear-bomber failures. So, they were dangerous to the men who died and others who could have been killed had the dirty hippies not been idiots.

So now we have a new generation of miserable failures. Are they going to bring us down? That makes me chuckle. I’ll just post a bit of Rosetta’s molotov rant with an “I’ll second the motion” to illustrate my opinion of the likelihood.

Sometime a few decades ago the left lost the civil political debate of ideas in this country which is why they no longer engage in the civil political debate of ideas.

More recently they’ve lost much of their ability to lie through their stinking teeth to try and scare every demographic into thinking that Republicans want to set them on fire, chop their heads off and shove them in a wood chipper.

Their Jedi mind trick skills (TEH SCIENCE IS SETTLED!!1!) are laughably weak.

The left is so stupid and politically inept that they’ve rendered the rhetorical trump card (RACIST!!1!) completely meaningless.

It seems to me that their rhetorical bag of tricks is empty. So where does that leave them and in turn, us?

When you cannot achieve that which you crave by civil means then other means become necessary. I think that’s where much of the left is today. If lying and name-calling can’t get you what you want, violence not only becomes acceptable, it becomes necessary.

Being conservative our inclination is to avoid conflict, come to peaceful resolutions and mollify the screaming, spittle-launching douchebag yelling at us because Halliburton something.

For years liberals have taken advantage of most people’s peaceful conservative nature by bullying them around in order to get what they want. The thing I like most about Andrew Breitbart, other than his mad-scientist hair, is that he’s sick of the $h!t.

The point he makes about us having the guns is one I’ve made for years.

In addition to the guns, we have the farmland, entrepreneurs, tax payers, chicks who bathe, Humvees, cheeseburgers, Ronald Reagan, Hank Williams, Jr. and a whole lot of unaborted babies.

They have all the soy milk, cars that run on poop, gender-studies graduates, patchouli, $10 light bulbs, drum circles, Al Gore, Barbra Streisand and a decades-long record of complete suck.

They’re agitating for a revolution and they’re going to war with that??

Do you think between now and the election we’re going to see the radical left take that next logical step and turn violent on a large scale? Or will their better angels, to the degree they exist, prevail?

I’m of the opinion most days that the left in this country will start the war because they have nothing to lose and the right will win it because we do.

So, yeah, we’ll win, but is anyone going to suffer? Probably, because even though they’re just a bunch of stupid, dirty, hippie failures, they still have the capacity to hurt someone. They just don’t have the capacity to succeed at life.

A man stands next to chalk graffiti which says “Burn this bank” outside a Bank of America branch during a “Make Wall Street Banks Pay” protest march in Los Angeles, California October 6, 2011. Los Angeles Police said they arrested eleven people for trespassing at the branch. (Reuters)

Don’t trust them. Don’t turn your back on them. Be prepared for anything and know that your President is probably funneling money to them and their enablers. But they’re still just dirty hippie failures, so don’t fear their success.

And if you’ve got kids at CUNY, get them out. Until our leaders wake up and purge the idiocy from our system, places like that are just going to destroy the hopes, lives, and futures of more of our young adults.

I was born in Saginaw, Michigan, and I grew up in a house on Saginaw Bay. My daddy was a poor, hardworking Saginaw fisherman. Too many times he came home with too little pay. Naw, not really, but it sounds more interesting than the real bio, so there you are.

  1. So we have an afl-cio director for central Pennsylvania saying “…*when* the *clashes” break out….”. Hmmmm. Not *if* but *when* and not “when the police move in” but “when the CLASHES break out”. Would that be ….accessory, conspiracy, incitement….?

    • Yes, it’s almost like they are hoping or even planning for civil unrest, isn’t it? What happens when old hippies get old? They hire young hippies to riot for them.

Or in Obama’s case, he uses tax money to do it. I don’t think the connections between the park owners, Joe Biden’s son, Mayor Bloomberg’s squeeze, and our tax money is getting anywhere near enough play.

Pretend the Tea Parties were meeting on Halliburton land and it came out that Dick Cheney’s daughter lobbied for them and they got $135 million in green graft and corruption money. Think the Demedia would notice?

  2. I think that most of this is a “planned distraction” away from Obama’s failed administration.

I’m sure most of these people don’t even know that these banks they are *protesting* against are the same ones that were coerced into giving all those bad loans in the first place by Fannie, Freddie and ACORN.
