And *THIS*, Ladies And Gentlemen, Is The Leader Of The Free World

According to Real Clear Politics, our President… our Commander in Chief… the – arguably – most powerful man on the planet… is about as smart as a bag full of rusty hammers:

“And so, Bill, the answer — the question then is, will Congress do something? If Congress does something, then I can’t run against a do-nothing Congress. If Congress does nothing, then it’s not a matter of me running against them, I think the American people will run them out of town. Because they are frustrated.”

I’d like to launch off into an oppo tirade here, searching for ever-new and more creative ways to mock this man, but I have neither the time nor the patience to do so without violating the sanctity of the posting guidelines here. What I WILL say, however, is that the President is a liar.

For him to suggest that Congress hasn’t acted smacks every American with an internet connection directly in the face. It doesn’t take much Googling to find Majority Leader Cantor’s website and the page that specifically keeps track of the PASSED bills that would help improve the jobless situation which the Senate refuses to address, let alone act upon.

The site is a must read if you want to determine whether this is a “do-nothing” Congress or a “don’t give a rip” President and I’m fairly certain where y’all will come down on that question. Consider this screen cap as of the writing of this piece:

Now, mind you, I am not concerned by all the electioneering that these clowns do because, well, it’s what they do – they ARE clowns after all. What Obama is suggesting here, however, is that he is in a no-lose situation; it’s good if Congress does nothing because he can run against that (which implies that it would be bad if they did something because he’d have to find a new argument to run on) and it’s good if they do stuff he and his ventriloquist dummy in the Senate won’t put to a vote because he can just perpetuate the class wars and blame Republicans for it.

I gotta tell ya, this is just about the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard of for a Presidential re-election campaign strategy… and, worse, it makes clear just exactly who the hell he really cares about…and it certainly ain’t you.

I know that, if you’re reading this, you aren’t in any danger of actually voting for him…but you might want to share this video with your friends out there who haven’t quite made up their mind(s) yet, and might be vulnerable to the MSM-sponsored Obama missives about a Congress that hasn’t acted and which half of it he (and his apologists in the media) wants you to believe is to blame:

Popcorn please… and I’ll have a Bud Light to go with that thankyouverymuch.

Wow, someone at the White House will inform us that the President was “off Teleprompter” for those remarks. His “Lincoln was the founder of the Republican Party” remark made more sense.

I suppose it would be asking too much for one of the GOP candidates to begin running against the “do-nothing-Democrats”… Yea, never mind.

Good post, HS. I especially agree with this:

I’d like to launch off into an oppo tirade here, searching for ever-new and more creative ways to mock this man, but I have neither the time nor the patience to do so without violating the sanctity of the posting guidelines here. What I WILL say, however, is that the President is a liar.

Every day, in every way. If his mouth is moving, he’s lying. Additionally, his constant stream of inane screw ups are so mockable, it has broken my mock-meter. (The irony meter bit the dust *years* ago.)

Here is where I see Obama succeeding. He has made a running start on being the most reviled man of the 21st century.
