Organizing for Obama wants you to tattle on anyone who is “attacking” Barak Obama. They’ve set up a web site where you can report the “lies” of the the bitter clingers and closet racists. AttackWatch.com is on the scene to save the sagging Obama administration. If this sounds familiar, it should. The statist tendency to have neighbors reporting on each other first raised its ugly mug as firstname.lastname@example.org There was so much outrage over that site it didn’t last long.
Last night, twitter universe lit up with mocking and outrage over this new tattle tale site. #attackwatch was the tag of the night. Like many on twitter, I went to AttackWatch.com to report myself. I found it became somewhat of a chore as every other link I was asked to follow pulled up an Obama donation page. Imagine that.
Isn’t this just dandy? Organizing for Obama is running this disaster. Hurry over to report yourself or you might miss the opportunity. I predict a short shelf life for this tattle page.
Judson Philips over at Tea Party Nation:
If anyone needs one good reason to not only distrust the Obama regime but work very hard to see it replaced in 2012, this is it. If this were the first time, perhaps it could be simply written off as someone at the Organizing For Obama headquarters going over the top.
This is not.
Given the hard left’s obsession with quelling any form of dissent and given the history socialist regimes have had in the past with insisting their citizens turn in anyone who speaks against the regime, this is very, very disquieting.
In his autobiography, Obama said he had always been drawn to Marxist professors. Given his family history of Marxism, it is no wonder he and his friends are almost obsessed with the concept of liberals “reporting” real Americans for being patriots.
It’s just statists doing what statists do. You can’t shame them but you can mock them.
