It’s bad when you find yourself up crap creek without a paddle. That’s where Americans are stuck because of an administration that is clueless when it comes to the private sector. While the country may have drifted up said creek before the Obamytes came to “rule”, it’s not like their policies haven’t been the order of things for many years.
In America, the tide of freedom is receding, drained by a government that is strangling its citizenry in the name of helping them. We are slowly sinking into the pool of collectivism. Our rights may come from God but it’s hard to enjoy them when there is a boot on your neck.
It was like taking a bullet, but I made myself watch the Obama jobs address to a joint session of Congress. It seems the public and many pundits have named the speech the “pass this bill” speech. I wouldn’t disagree with that. Obama sounded like an out of breath used car salesman. Only the weak and naive buy from a guy like that.
Or maybe the latest Obama lies will appeal to a larger audience than it should. Americans just hate to deal with any pain. The financial world may have come undone and millions may have lost their jobs but there is a segment of Americans who believe Uncle Sugar can fix a sucking chest wound with a bandaid. Dammit, when will these people wake up and realize that we have to take the pain now or save it for our grandkids? Are we cowards? Take the pain!
The Obama jobs bill or plan or whatever was still a mystery by the end of the president’s telepompter reading. It was long on pass this now and short on details. After calling a joint session of congress, Obama couldn’t be bothered with specifics or where the $450 billion would come from. The devil aint into details. He’s into three card monty.
The One doesn’t see himself as anything less than a god. You can see it in his body language and hear it in the way he speaks. In this jobs speech he quoted from JFK saying “and man can be as big as he wants.” That must be some kind of Democrat dogma, a special kind of arrogance. It’s a revealing statement. Perhaps Obama will soon prove he can walk on water. That might lift his electoral chances.
Forget miracles. Republicans would settle for a look at the details of the “plan” Obama has said they must pass. There must be something in writing somewhere, but it apparently is mostly a secret. Select media types are leaking parts of what Obama wants. It should be DOA as far as Republicans are concerned. There isn’t anything in it for America that is worth locking into the federal budget another $450 billion a year. The country doesn’t need that when it is already on the edge of bankruptcy.
The long term solution to the lack of jobs is to remove Obama from office. Put the paddle back into the hands of productive Americans and then freedom and prosperity can flourish. Let the man who came to rule return to from whence he came….Crap Creek Chicago.
