Fast And Furious Has Been Slow And Deadly

What did the White House know, and when did they know it? We can pretend that is the question to be asked but the reality is, they always knew, they planned on it to help further the cause of taking away the rights of gun owners, and like all things that leftists do, they have failed spectacularly! The saving grace for America has always been and will always be that even though they get liberal laws through Congress to attack this Country, America always fights back and usually wins.

This story that the media wing of the Democrat Party has worked ever diligently to shove down the rabbit whole, continues to grow (thank God). I watched Kirsten Powers last night on FOX say the White House told her they never knew about Fast & Furious and how she was “surprised” they had lied and the story will now grow because of the lie. well Kirsten Powers, gets lied to a lot from the Democrat Party (remember Anthony Weiner lied to her also), they treat her as they do all women and the media in general, like the lackey’s they are for the Democrat Party. Nonetheless, people are dying all over the border states with Mexico from these guns that the Democrat Party handed over to drug dealers, who would just as soon cut your throat as use a magazine of bullets to kill you and they have to pay a price for putting Americans at risk. How Many More Have To Die President Obama Before The Truth Comes Out?

The heated Congressional investigation into the botched Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives program Operation Fast and Furious reached a whole new level on Friday.

New emails obtained by the Los Angeles Times appear to show senior Obama administration and White House officials were briefed on the gun-walking operation. The three White House officials implicated by the LA Times’ reporting are Kevin M. O’Reilly, the director of North American Affairs for the White House national security staff; Dan Restrepo, the president’s senior Latin American advisor; and Greg Gatjanis, a White House national security official.

The emails were sent between July 2010 and February 2011, before the scandalous ATF program was exposed, according the LA Times.

The LA Times says a senior administration official denies that the emails which lead Fast and Furious ATF agent Brian Newell sent to O’Reilly — who later briefed Restrepo and Gatjanis –included details on “investigative tactics” used in the program. By “investigative tactics,” the White House means how ATF agents facilitated the sale of firearms to drug cartels via “straw purchasers,” or people who could legally buy guns in the U.S. but did so with the intention of selling them to individuals who would traffic them to Mexico.

Those emails apparently show Newell and O’Reilly discussing how the program was affecting Mexico.

Another explosive new detail that emerged on Thursday was a set of documents showing senior officials in Phoenix attempting to cover up a connection between Fast and Furious weapons and U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s death.

In a letter sent to Ann Scheel, the new acting U.S. Attorney for Arizona, House Oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa and Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote that high-ranking Phoenix officials tried to “prevent the connection [between Terry’s death and Fast and Furious weapons] from being disclosed.”

There should absolutely be jail time for the federal authorities who watched those guns “walk” into Mexico in the hands of Mexican drug dealers who have killed over 50K Mexican citizens and untold number of American citizens in the past 5 years.

ATF, which has had several homes, is under the jurisdiction of Eric H. Holder

Its interesting, I should say “telling,” that they name the names of the people who received the emails. The words “The Administration” says all I need to know, but then I have a very narrow Non-Commissioned Officer’s point of view when it comes to responsibility. FM 7-8, “The Infantry Rifle Platoon and Squad” defines a Non Commissioned Officers responsibilities by saying “You are responsible for everything your men do or fail to do.” Pretty simple. The US Army Jumpmaster School goes a little farther, saying, “You can delegate authority but NEVER responsibility.”

If we’re looking for some one who was/is responsible for Fast and Furious those two laws of nature kinda narrow it down some.

you can pin it down to the Democrats who requested the funds and then the Justice Department under Eric Holder who pulled in the other departments and ANYONE who pulled the trigger so to speak on this ILLEGAL action that has now turned into murder, needs to be put in jail, so that any future government employees will never say yes to an ILLEGAL act ever again!

Jaded thank you for keeping us up on this you & UP are about the only source I can stomach to read about this situation. Had this been a Repub administration well we all know what priority the MSM would have given it. This truly is an administration-ending escapade. Or should be. But what I wanted to note from your article is, good catch pointing out how the Dems treated Kirsten Powers and other females in media on this. SOP for them, really.
