So this absolutely pathetic excuse of so called research comes out and the Media Wing of the Democrat Party, makes it seem like We The People of the TEA Party ie: Patriots to America, “fear” change. What they don’t explain is change to them is a progressive society, some nasty program call “Social Justice” which by the way, keeps the middle class down with the poor class to have “justice” for the poor. The rich who sit back and think up these coded words, will of course be keeping their millions upon million, but you cannot have some uppity Americans do better for working hard, when the po folk need to have their “justice”, now can you? We Fear Nothing, And We Aren’t Going Away
The study concludes that 18 percent of tea party supporters felt very negatively toward immigrants compared to 12 percent of voters who don’t support the tea party movement.
The poll also found that 51 percent of people who were very concerned about “changes taking place in American society these days” were tea party supporters. Nearly 85 percent of tea party supporters said the U.S. Constitution should be interpreted “as the Founders intended,” compared to only 34 percent of other respondents.
But tea party supporters were twice as likely as others to favor constitutional amendments, including a ban on flag burning and an overhaul of the 14th Amendment, which states that people born in the United States are citizens.
“The (tea party) supporters’ inconsistent views of the Constitution suggests that their nostalgic embrace of the document is animated more by a network of cultural associations than a thorough commitment to the original text,” the report states.
Let me address the anger towards “immigrants”, we don’t mind immigrants, we have anger towards ILLEGALS, because we are a law and order movement. I am sure the American Sociological Association is just filled to the brim with people who think they are smarter then We The People but I am here to tell you, you don’t know us at all! See you in November 2012 and you will know our anger in the voting booth.
