“Win the day!”

Not to be a hypocrite, I snitch other people’s good ideas all the time. And I suppose if I were a high-school football coach, I wouldn’t decline a presidential visit; after all, POTUS is still POTUS. But I do find it a bit gaggy that this president is so sophomoric as to snitch and use the high-school football team’s charge-up cheer, and take it for his own. Perhaps I’m just a bit too partisan and my distaste for Jug-Ears too apparent, but I do think I’d have cringed if GWB had started crowing about ‘winning the day’. Nice phrase for 16 year old footballer; for a President, not so much. Galesburg’s Presidential Summit (couldn’t embed video, sorry!).

[Embedded by Queen Hotchibobo. Great find, mriggio. The skinny little freak makes me crazy with his narcissism too. With Obama, it’s all about him.]

  1. Good catch, rig! Look, we are all sorry about Obama’s childhood, but how many examples do we have to have to know that this guy just latches on to Americanisms either out of bewilderment or envy, or just to sound like he’s ‘one of us’. The braintrust behind his presidency either didn’t catch his unuseful idiotness, or they were very appreciative of his truly useful idiotness. But the blooom is off the rose now for abot 75 of the population.
