A Tribute to the Fallen


This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time – since Memorial Day two years ago when I heard CDR. Duane Wolfe was killed in Iraq. Events of Saturday just made it…mandatory for me.

Rest in peace, brothers and sisters…

No one can watch this video without tears. I don’t know how you were able to put it together. Yet, the scenes of grief and mourning are important for all to see.

To put a face to a soldier’s death…that is what reminds us of the reality of war and the price paid for freedom.

That grows on fields, where valor led.
It seems to signal to the skies
That blood of heroes never dies.

God Bless you all for your ultimate sacrifice to our beloved nation. May God grant solace to those left behind.
