Marco Rubio Stands and Delivers

If you’ve not seen this video, take a few minutes to watch it. There are still people up there who get it, who understand what we’re up against, who recognize the dysfunction that is DC politics, who know what it is going to take to get our fiscal house in order.

We had some real successes in 2010, people. Let’s not get discouraged because they haven’t been able to change DC yet, let’s be encouraged that there are good men out here willing to serve in the Congress and that there are good men we’ve been able to get elected. We’ll never get rid of all the jerks (like Jim Moran, Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, and John Kerry) but we can make their inanity, contempt for us, and corruption uncomfortable. Let’s do it again in ’12.

Queen Hotchibobo
I was born in Saginaw, Michigan, and I grew up in a house on Saginaw Bay. My daddy was a poor, hardworking Saginaw fisherman. Too many times he came home with too little pay. Naw, not really, but it sounds more interesting than the real bio, so there you are.

  1. He pretty much pwned Kerry in that. Slammed home the point that the reason this is so different than 2006, 2007 is that no serious efforts have been made in dealing with the debt. Ever. That’s what has the markets and Moodys jittery, it ain’t the debt limit, it’s the debt. And no serious effort has ever been made to deal with that. It certainly isn’t being made now by these “compromises” the Dems want. The GOP has sent two serious bills to at least make the first realistic attempt to the Seante ony to see them get tabled. Now we have a 3rd that got tabled as well.

This was Rubio at his finest.

  2. I quite imagine that this is how Conservatives felt in the 70s when listening to Ronald Reagan speak of Conservatism (I know when I listen to Reagans speeches now its how I feel). Senator Marco Rubio is really a special kind of Republican and I am so very grateful for his guiding principles!
