Behind The DC Door: The Washington Orgy Is Over

What has been allowed to happen in the capital of the best damn Country in the World for probably the past 60 years, was no doubt an orgy. An orgy is similar to debauchery, which refers to excessive indulgence in sensual pleasures. I don’t think it is to excessive in language to say that the word orgy works for all of the powerful, mentally deranged Caligula aspiring politicians who have set about to destroy the best Country, while enriching themselves and their friends These Are No Longer Citizen Legislators. To say the Congress is out of control is to truly lesson what they are doing, and lets not forget to include the White House and all The Czar’s and friends of Obama in it, because they are enjoying the orgy as well which is the reason We The People sent the TEA Party to stop the madness, and they showed up last night. TEA Party Crashes Washington Orgy

In his call for a balanced approach to allow himself the ability to run up even more massive debt, Obama used the historical, heretofore automatic raising of the debt ceiling to defend his actions. Apparently the “change we need” did not involve turning off the money spigot or the Treasury printing presses.

Ironically, it was Obama who in the campaign of 2008 sold half of America on the idea that he was going to Washington to stop the status quo. I can only surmise that Obama didn’t think Washington was spending America into oblivion fast enough. He’s not exactly “reining in Washington,” is he?

So we find ourselves fighting the same battle with liberals yet again, and pretty much in the same old ways. Democrats bluster that if taxpayers don’t keep forking over the big bucks, we will all die, and Republicans allow us to be pecked to death by chickens.

The only way to rein in Washington is to take away our money. Not raising the debt ceiling is the only way to force America to cut government, something liberals abhor.

Liberals love spending orgies. Unfortunately for them, the Tea Party movement brought a fiscal religion revival to the continuing party at Club Fed Hedonism 2008+. And we ain’t going nowhere.

That’s my rant!

I have thought for many, many years, even under Bush, that the Political Class in Washington, DC was destroying this Country, quite like Roman times. I actually thought it would be the morality (or lack thereof) that would destroy us, but unfortunately, it is worse, it will be the UNPRECEDENTED level of spending and debt that will be the final orgy in DC.

  1. The analogy of the Romans is actually quite accurate, from the devaluing of the currency to the pitiful leadership to the erosion of the character of the citizens. Then, one day, like a wisp of smoke, they were gone.

    We are headed that way.

  2. Our founders created us in the image of Rome (see federalist papers – they also looked at Greece and the Batavian Republic) and thus we are predisposed to Rome’s virtues and vices as Jack points out. I think you hit it on the head Jaded. The orgy’s been going on in full riot. About the only things missing now are the fiddle and the fire.

  3. Three guesses on the identity of Caligula and the first two don’t count.

We were talking about this at work. One of the men I work with said to turn me loose in DC to balance the books. I’ve balanced out projects within 2 cents and that variance was due to rounding.
