Racist TEA Partier Frees Wrongfully Convicted Black Man

How can it be that a man who is beloved by the “racist” TEA Party, even speaks at rallies, would even for a moment think to free a man, wrongfully convicted decades ago who is black? It can be, because the TEA Party in its roots, is a movement of Americans, of all races, colors and creeds, who believe in the truth. The truth shall almost always set you free and while it was a horridly long time for this man to be in jail for something he never did, nor ever would have, truth did set him free. A man (or woman) should not ever fear going to the store and being arrested and jailed for 84 years on a physical identification, way to many people are in jail on false identification by hysterical witnesses. I am as grateful for DNA evidence as I am for the internet, both have changed society in good ways and is a true benefit to honest people God Bless Ken Cuccinelli, An Honest, Principled Man

Until last March, it seemed Mr. Haynesworth would remain in prison unless his lawyers could persuade an appeals court to grant such a writ, even though law enforcement officials and prosecutors familiar with his case already were persuaded that he was a victim rather than a criminal.

At that point, Virginia’s attorney general, a fire-breathing conservative best known for filing the first constitutional challenge to the individual mandate in President Obama’s health care law, got involved. As a state senator, Kenneth T. Cuccinelli had been a key supporter of the 2004 legislation that would give Mr. Haynesworth a chance at exoneration. After reviewing the evidence, he signed on as Mr. Haynesworth’s most important supporter.

When he discovered in March that in spite of all that had happened, Mr. Haynesworth had been denied parole, Mr. Cuccinelli persuaded Virginia Gov. Robert McDonnell to revisit an earlier parole denial so that on his 46th birthday, Thomas Haynesworth walked out of prison. He’s still a convicted felon and has to register as a sex offender, but he’s free, and Mr. Cuccinelli swears he will do everything in his power to clear Mr. Haynesworth’s name.

I know it benefits leftists like Barack Hussein Obama and the NAACP to paint, common sense, truthful Conservatives as racists, but little by little, the TRUTH gets out. Good job Mr. Cuccinelli you are a true American hero for helping this man get his life back.
