You know, it’s awful hard for me to feel sorry for people sometimes. The unemployment rate is almost 10%; the *real* unemployment rate (absent efforts to make it look artificially low) is closer to 20% than 10%, and it’s significantly higher than that among young people. Why is it hard for me to feel sorry for them? Well…
They are lying in the bed they made, that’s why. They wanted Hope and Change; they wanted the flashy new thing; they wanted Obama; they got it.
According to ABC News they’ve got buyer’s remorse.
New analysis by Pew Foundation on voter identification finds that, not surprisingly, “the electorate’s partisan affiliations have shifted significantly since Obama won office nearly three years ago.”
One of the most notable shifts is the GOP gain among white voters, most specifically “the young and poor.”
“A seven-point Democratic advantage among whites under age 30 three years ago has turned into an 11-point GOP advantage today. And a 15-point Democratic advantage among whites earning less than $30,000 annually has swung to a slim four-point Republican edge today.”
Too bad. So sad.
Seriously, I guess I’m glad they are waking up. I’m glad they’re not terminally stupid, but just exhibiting the foolishness of youth. I’m glad they are capable of learning. I’m just not sorry for them because their foolishness imposed a socialist disaster on my country. That, I’m not going to forget or forgive very soon.
p.s. If you really want to get nauseous, look at the comments at ABC. The commenters there figured out why this group is no longer on the liberal plantation…raaaacism. Good grief.
