Is It Time For Perry? It Certainly Couldn’t Hurt!

Governor Rick Perry of Texas is an American who loves his Country as she is, he doesn’t require her to “change” and he never “hopes” that she will get better, he knows she will and he knows how to do it! Texas is creating jobs like crazy and they work within their budget. Was he a Democrat? Yes! So what? Reagan was one as well and so was I, and I suspect the Democrat Party has left a lot of their constituents behind for the progressive mantle! There are no longer any Democrats who see this Country for the city on a shining hill we know she can be and in such it is time to excise them from the body politic.

  1. Rick Perry would make a fine president.

If he is the nominee, you can bet your bottom dollar that Perry will go straight at Obama with bare nuckles. You won’t her him pullin any of that “my good friend” crap.

    Wouldn’t that be refreshing?

  2. I’ve been thinking about this too TG. Always have a Plan B. In this deficit battle right now in the federal government arena if the House doesn’t hold the line – and I pray they do I’ve far from given up- but if they don’t, and hand us a sea change political reverse — then our best hope will be to shift battlefields quickly to states vs. feds & the economy. That means, find our best, tough Governor out there and throw him/her into the fray spotlighting Obama’s miserable record. That would be a script written for Perry, no question.

  3. I’m not sold on Rick Perry, but I like what I have seen. All of the potential nominees have flaws, but from a principle and philosophy point of view, this cycle’s crop of candidates is certainly the best I have seen in some time. Last time around I had serious problems with everyone running (serious contenders that is) except Fred!!
This time? I believe I would be very happy with a President Bachmann or Palin or Pawlenty or Perry or possibly even Santorum. That doesn’t mean they are all equally good candidates, but they all are sufficiently aligned on principle.
With so many acceptable candidates, the real challenge is not getting split among the good ones and ending up with the morons choosing a bad one for us. I don’t think Romney for example would be a disaster as President, but this is the time for a bold candidate who will represent us, not a get along guy. We can’t afford another 4 years of compromise, literally can’t afford it.

    • You have chosen all the ones I am interested in (likeminded we are..lol) except Pawlenty with his pathetic attack on Bachmann for her headaches really showed a side of him I do not like!

  4. I’ve always been a Perry fan…I’ve had some issues with him…enough so I never thought I’d give my full throated HELL YEAH!!!! to the idea of a Perry for POTUS campaign….but it is indeed time
