Thomas Sowell Endorses Unified Patriots

Dr. Sowell
Some of you are aware of my enthusiasm for Dr. Sowell. I pretty much own his library of works; he and Dr. Walter Williams (Black by Popular Demand) are the only two teachers on this planet capable of making me understand the arcane discipline of economics. They are geniuses.

Today Dr. Sowell over at Townhall asks: Is Democracy Viable? I heartily commend it, realizing time and focus are at a premium for us all. In this excellent article, he inadvertently reinforces our slogan & mission statement: electing constitutional conservatives to public office. As a tease, his final paragraphs:

To those who see voting as more or less just a matter of self-expression, almost a recreational activity, there is no need to inform themselves on both sides of the issues before voting, much less sit down and think beyond the rhetoric to the realities that the rhetoric conceals.

Careless voters may be easily swayed by charisma and rhetoric, oblivious to the monumental disasters created around the world by 20th century leaders with charisma and rhetoric, such as Hitler.

Voters like this represent a danger of terminal frivolity for freedom and democracy.

  1. Thomas Sowell is a remarkable man and statesman. Yes, nothing like charisma and rhetoric to sway the uninformed masses. All we can do is keep getting the word out, and beat back the efforts of the Malignant Media to cover for the Left.

  2. Tks for putting this up, ‘rig. I caught Sowell’s piece this a.m. and was wondering how to direct people’s attention to it. Guess you showed me how, huh? His previous piece on the 4th of July was also excellent. Everything he puts out is excellent. He is in his early 80’s and has lost nothing, in fact seems to be getting more profound by the day. When the O ascended and they had the victory party in Chicago, the cameras caught Jesse Jackson with tears streaming down his cheek. Jesse was crying because it wasn’t HIM up there. I was crying because it wasn’t somebody like Thomas Sowell up there.

  3. I love, love, love Thomas Sowell. It’s too bad he couldn’t have been our first black President. He has more sense in his little finger than BO has in his entire body.

And he’s right, careless voters are the worst detriment to our form of government that there could ever possibly be. I would rather face Red China or Russia than have our current populace choose our leaders.
