Egypt is Burning Christians Out, and Obama Wants Us to Subsidize Them

This is a big heads up to our friends, the House Freshmen.

This cannot be allowed to happen…The G8 promising to provide aid to support the rising democracies of Arab Spring in Egypt and Tunisia.

A $20 B aid package to the struggling Arab fascists (yes, we can prove this) as they are beginning to burn out Christians and their churches. And Western media seems to sympathize with it. If you don’t already know it, under some revisionist version of sharia law going around in some Muslim quarters, for a Muslim to convert to Christianity is punishable by death. The Taliban (both in Afghanistan and Pakistan) have been invoking this for some time.

Egypt has just seen organized an Egyptian Nazi Party… in the spirit of the rising tide of democracy, of course. It had been underground before.

Our view is that extreme behavior such as these examples, leading into elections in the fall, is to make the Muslim Brotherhood seem “moderate” by comparison. The Brotherhood also wants to kill all the Jews, mind you, but unlike the Egyptian Nazis, they don’t (necessarily) want to roast them over an open spit.

Either way, when this “democracy-of-Obama’s-choosing” finally gets power in Egypt…and Tunisia, and Jordan, and Bahrain, and Libya…all religions other than Islam will be prohibited, banished, or killed straightaway, depending on who’s looking. Ask Morris Sadek, a Coptic Christian in America, recently stripped of his citizenship.

More Christians have been killed during Arab Spring (and not by friends of Mubarak or Israel) than soldiers in Afghanistan.

We favor ending all aid to Egypt, including the $2B in military aid or any other aid to Arab Spring participants, until our Congress has been assured there is genuine democracy afoot. Let’s get bi-partisan experts to look at the processes of “democracy” these Arab countries seem to be adopting. I may be too quick to say the current makeup of the White House staff isn’t qualified, but at least Congress should require other voices be heard.

We cannot allow Obama to have his way in this, for what he is condoning is impeachable and what he is asking is criminal.

Say it loud and clear: At the barest minimum, any wannabe democratic government that cannot guarantee freedom of religion (women will be taking a giant step backwards, too) cannot expect to be accepted in the comity of nations…unless they also hold all our bonds.

  1. I read about this earlier today, Vassar, and cried after reading it. It was pointed out that during this trip, both Obama and Cameron have very deliberately avoided any discussion of what is taking place regarding Christians.
You’re familiar with Sauron in Tolkein’s works, correct? It was the power of his voice that presented the most danger. Obama is our Sauron. I’ve been surprised by things I’ve read today about the G8 summit. In spite of his gaffes this week…he’s the ultimate snake-oil salesman and Europeans are buying it.
By laying back, he’s now put himself in a position where they are actually asking it of him to take the lead on Arab Spring. One of the issues being addressed is “media influence”, and suggestions of greater internet regulation are being discussed. It’s very much so the “rule of man” that is being presented in this.

If there was ever a time to speak out, this is it. We have to press forward as hard as we can between now and November 2012.

    • This is especially egregious, LH, due to Obama’s clear preferences for Islam over Christianity as well his preference for one of the ‘isms, social or fasc, over American style democracy, The Brits and French want Libya light sweet crude more than anything else, so I see a swap here, even though Cameron is a Tory.

As I said, this criminal. let’s see if Congress can rebuff it.

      • Oh, I agree on both counts regarding Obama, Vassar. I’m not sure that Congress will rebuff it. I think that after Obama gets back home we’ll start hearing some spin about how these “poor people” are so starving for change, and how Europe isn’t in a financial position to take the lead on this (as if we are) that it will probably placate a greater portion of Congress. After all, the US has greater experience at democracy than any other nation on earth, blah, blah, blah, etc. Too many members of this Congress are still buying the snake-oil, you know, even though they already have plenty of evidence that it does more harm than good.
For all intents and purposes, Obama’s neutering what members of Congress may have actually had cojones going into this, and rendering the legislative branch of our government obsolete and ineffective in the process.
The Judicial branch, however….call it gut or intuition or anything else you want to, but I think the Judicial branch of our government may now be reaching the point that they would like to have a shot at clipping this particular Executive’s wings a bit.

        • We can’t live, or succeed on outrage, LH, that’s my point here. We all know what Obama will do, the press, the Democrats, even a lot of mushy Republicans.

We can list what needs to be done and squeal like pigs if need be to see that they get done.

Our job here is find those things that causes things to get done. Period.

          • Hmmm….that sounds like a reproach, Vassar.

Okay, so I tried to log back in right after I made the above response, but the system kicked me out. I was going to say that if a few key Dems ever get to the point of realizing that they are getting played (after all, there can be only one wearer of the ring), they’ll address it themselves.

With that said, I’ll leave the subject be.

          • Never a reproach, LH. A reminder. We can all listen to Limbaugh or Beck and get steamed. That moves nothing. This site, and others we’re associated with, see the activism hub above, plus another soon to be open, Great American Zeroes, are all about going the next step…to wringing the chicken’s neck. (We have some in Congress’ ear here, FYI. And we also have a few who can put a boot up Congress backside here as well.)

The greatest forms of activism, getting things done, will not be seen or heard about here on UP (I hope) but I want everyone to start thinking that way…a little vigilante, a little contrarian, a little neck-wringer, and a whole lot of angel doing God’s work

  2. Muslim women have few rights, and less freedom. There is a Saudi woman in jail right now for driving an automobile. At the same time we have the head of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz preaching that the Republicans are “anti-women.”
