The Noble Rhino

Among the promising Republican Presidential contenders lurk a few who are, well, not so promising. Mitt is still out there pretending he didn’t ruin Massachusetts’ healthcare with his big government socialism , Newt is still trying to get Nancy back on that park bench for some bi-partisanship, and then there’s Huntsman. I was pleased to find that I’m not the only one out here who is done with the DC Beltway and “moderate” (pronounced: dem lite)Republicans.

Verum Serum posted this along with the video…

Since I’ve clearly just violated the Eleventh Commandment by producing this, let me clarify that I think Huntsman should get in the race. Whether we like it or not, there is clearly some constituency for these types of ideas. For proof, stop and consider that in his effort to tack to the right President Obama is preparing to portray himself to the American people in 2012 as someone very much like Jon Huntsman.

If you can be described as “tacking right from Obama” you’re too far left for me. Go back to the savannah Jon, and take Newt and Mitt with you.

    • Parts of this election are playing out like a B movie horror flick, zombies from ’08, the Return of the Blob of bi-partisanship and now the Son Of McLame. Apparently the surest sign of being a RINO is running on the proven losing strategies of the last election.

  1. Thank you for posting this nessa, and for calling some what they really are, dem lite. The only difference with Romney this time to the concert is that his violin has shrunken a whole lot. In 2008 Romney was taken to the cleaners for Romneycare, but not to the extent that it is this time, as it has been cited as the state experiment that brought about Obamacare. And, that’s his story, and he’s stickin’ to it. I have been quite happy with what has been termed the second tier. At this point I’m looking at the race as the Kentucky Derby. The number one post position is the last place you want to start the race from, and according to polling, that’s the position Romney holds currently. Unless he is able to manuever the field, and get away from his negatives, he will never make it across the finish line. He ain’t no Animal Kingdom, and either is Newt or Huntsman. This will be the year for a dark horse.
