means never having to remember the prior years insanities bought and paid for by the Democrat Party. Steve Hayward used to be a very good Conservative writer with his finger on the pulse of America, now his finger is on the pulse of the “conspiracies” that his fellow elites in DC propagate Check Some More Steve To See Where They Start Before Slapping About The Head, The Right

Although I haven’t seen this anywhere yet (not that I’m looking especially hard), I’m sure there’s a right-winger or disappointed birther out there somewhere who thinks we’ve known about bin Laden’s whereabouts all along, and that President Obama wanted to knock him off in the fall of next year as the ultimate October Surprise, but had to move up the timetable because of WikiLeaks, or a crease in Hillary’s pantsuit, or something. Although the White House isn’t helping itself very much with its serial fumbles in the aftermath, I hope this particular conspiracy doesn’t catch on.

I do recall that there were a lot of folks on the left who believed this about President Bush in 2004. What Christopher Hitchens wrote about the matter then applies now (with “Axelrod” swapped out for “Rove”):

I find that Steve may well be the actual source of this thinking because, well, I haven’t found any “right-wingers” writing extensively on it. I would say that the Faculty Lounge Administration down in DC has every right to be judged on its honesty in this matter, what with every story coming out of the White House this past week having to have been “clarified” and or totally discounted. They have played a game of lies this week because as all us “right-wingers” know, the TRUTH never needs a clarification. The Barack Hussein Obama Administration is hiding something with all of their wag the dog drama this past week however that will become apparent with FOIA in the future. You see Steve we don’t just do a conspiracy we actually follow through to try to prove it; it’s a Conservative thing. I like the way he is thoroughly mocked by other “right-wingers” in the blogosphere, as he should be Michael Moore Is A Good, Fat Source For That “Right-Winger Fable, Steve. My favorite of course is Ed Driscoll, who was kind enough to remind Steve of the infamous conversation of Walter Cronkite accusing Karl Rove of nefarious intentions when a Bin Laden tape came out Karl Rove And The Bat Line Straight To Bin Laden, To Keep Bush In Office

KING: OK, Walter. What do you make of this?

CRONKITE: Well, I make it out to be initially the reaction that it’s a threat to us, that unless we make peace with him, in a sense, we can expect further attacks. He did not say that precisely, but it sounds like that when he says…

KING: The warning.

CRONKITE: What we just heard. So now the question is basically right now, how will this affect the election? And I have a feeling that it could tilt the election a bit. In fact, I’m a little inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing.

Yet the Media Wing Of The Democrat Party would have us all believe that Cronkite was the most trusted man in news. He only had that title because out of the “big” three he was the least leftist, that title would be stripped bare in 2011! In the final analysis it would appear that Stevie heard a little “chatter” in his daily convo’s with liberals as he does show prep for FOX, hell maybe even Shep Smith, and well, his once intelligent head has become a crown of blond and he fell for the lefty rumor mill.

Right on, Jaded. The difference between being ‘better than our opponents’ and allowing ourselves to be manipulated by their mindsets and methodologies is, for the insiders, a fine one. For us out here, not so much.
