That’s not a comforting fact for the millions of last minute Americans (that’s me. too) who are just now filing their tax returns. Nearly all of that 35% of income is lifted from the tax payer’s wallet. Liberals like to claim it is part of our social contract. Seems pretty close to theft to me. Yeah, I know. I am heartless.
Have you ever thought that the federal government is much like the company store of old. You can never get ahead. The debt continues to build and soon a man is left with not much reward for his labor. You are feeling it, aren’t you?

After watching that it’s impossible not to ask if there is any way out of America’s crushing debt burden. Our elected officials can’t even seem to find a way to cut 1% out of this year’s spending. Apparently it is not even possible to calculate the cuts in the recent budget deal. Who and what are you going to believe?
As the nutty former Senator Alan Simpson recently said, “pray for the gang of six.” Or something. Could that “something” be some steel for the spine of Speaker Boehner? Please?
